After the King cooked me an amazing warm meal, he asked if I wanted to go out and maybe grab a coffee with him and get to know each other better. I thought it would be a good idea to to get to know my mate. Maybe I can even convince him to slow our relationship down for awhile since he's taking it a bit to fast and besides I don't even really trust him after what he did to me. I mean yeah his apologie was helpful but what he did was just flat out rude.
But before we went for coffee he had said that he wanted to show me around the palace first which got me excited. No one but the guards and the Kings family was aloud inside the grounds and here I am in side the palace which is inside the grounds. And I just happen to be his mate.
The grounds were pretty awesome, and huge.
As we were walking everyone was looking at me with mixed looks, hate, and loving looks. Bentley was rubbing my back and giving me supporting looks. We came by the huge training arena, so basically my second home, and boy was it nice. It has different parts for different training exercises. I loved it. And finally after all the little buildings and shops we came to another huge house on a taller hill over looking the lands.
"It's my parents house" Bentley said looking down at my short ass.
"Hasn't your dad passed?" I ask looking in the direction of the house.
He starts laughing a little which made me a little confused. "No abby, please don't tell me you believe those rumors?" He still stood there smiling down at me.
"Well yeah I kinda did" I say with a little bit of sass
The king just rasied his eyebrows and continued on walking towards the bigger house. I quicky caught up, following right in his foot steps.
Then it hit me, im meeting his parents! Oh hell no.
"Bentley?" I ask poking his back. He instantly turned
around.
"Yes baby?" He says with a super sexy smile on his face. Ugh why is he so perfect?! My wolf starts whining in my head, she agrees.
"A-am i meeting your f-family?" I ask looking up at tbe doors of the massive house.
"If they are home yes" he says still smiling. We continue to walk up the hill.
Once we reach the doors i take a deep breath in. Bentley gives me a reassuring smile then opens the door.
"Where are your manners, your supposed to knock before you go in. That was rude" i say slapping his arm and walking in after him.
The king stops and i peak around his back. There stands a gorgous lady with blonde hair and green eyes. She stands with open arms and a huge smile on her face.
"My oh my i like your mate already, standing up to an alpha about his manners" the lady says walking towards us still with a huge smile.
I step out from behide bentlys back and greet the woman.
"Um hello, im abby" i say with a smile and a small wave.
"Ugh come here i do hugs not waves!" She says kindly
"Abby id like you to meet my mother" Bentley said smiling down at us hugging.
" shes gorgeous! Your super lucky with this one! But abby please do call me nova " his mother said.
"Well its nice to meet you" i say pulling out from the hug.
"Its nice to meet you aswell dear"
" im going to take abby to meet father, is that okay?" Bentley asks pointing up stairs.
"Yes, yes of course! It was lovely meeting you abby" nova said waving and walking away.
"I thought your mom would be kinda scary" i said looking at Bentley.
He laughs and shakes his head. "shes one of the nicest people on the planet" he says.
"Lets go upstairs, my father is wanting to meet you" Bentley says talking my hand and leading me up a large spiral staircase.
" is he scary?" I ask while we walk up.
"It depends who hes talking to and what it's about" Bentley replied shrugging his shoulders.
"Good to know" i say getting a tad more nervous
"Calm down mon amour, i can hear your heart beating a mile a minute" he says stoping and looking into my eyes.
" i cant help it, im meeting my mates parents" i say back fidgeting with my shirt.
We make it to the top of the stairs and i see a long hallway with multiple doors on either sides. The walls were painted a soft grey, chandeliers hung from the high ceilings and cabinets with expensive decorations lined the path. Bentley kept walking forward.
We were nearing the end
Of the wall when I seen huge black wood doors. Must be his father's office? I asked myself. Bentley stoped a few feet in front of them and turned to me, grabbing both my hands and covering them with his
"He's going to love you Mon Amour, I promise" he said kissing my forehead.
"What if he doesn't Bentley?" I ask looking into his eyes.
"You have nothing to worry about babe" He smiled and dropped my hands then turned away again and walked to the doors. Knocking three times, It was silent for a moment before I heard a rough "come in."
Bentley walks in and stops. I peak around his back and see this tall build man in a fancy suit who looks just like Bentley standing by a huge glass window over looking the land.
"Hello father" Bentley says walking in a bit farther with me right on his heels.
His father turns around looking at Bentley and sniffs the air lightly.
"Who's the mutt behind you?"
