THE GODS were nothing short of powerful, holy, something to be gawked at and never mocked about. They were ethereal and serene; violent and deceitful; cruel, yet filled to the brim with the kindest intentions; wise and brash. So very beautiful and untouchable.

THEY lived far away from the rest.

Up up up in the highest mountain, in their castle on the clouds. Some walked along the sandy beaches. Others hummed softly to a tune down below, far below the ground, where all mortals would end up eventually.

gods cannot die. they simply can not.

Embedded in the stories we tell our children, in the art around us, in every person we pass by. They are everywhere and everything and they simply will not go.
