Emily's POV
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
I grumbled as I searched around for the off button on my alarm clock absolutely dreading the day ahead. It was a Monday the worst day of the week. I pulled on black skinny jeans,a Pierce the Veil tank top, an old pair of Converse, and a black cardigan to cover my arms.When I got downstairs a saw my mom sitting at the kitchen table,that wasn't good she normally was at work by now. I casually glanced at her as I made my breakfast that I "ate".
"Honey...we need to talk....." Said my mom.
Crap...did she find out about the party?My grades?Detention?
"Yes?"
She sighed " Work is making me go on a long business trip.... I'm leaving tonight and your babysitters will be here this afternoon."
"Babysitters?!?!? I don't need babysitters!! I'm old enough to be left home alone!"
"I know you are honey... I just would feel a lot better if other people were here with you."
"Whatever you just don't trust me." I huffed and stormed out of the house.
*at school*
I sat through all of my classes in an angry daze and doodled on my notebook.
At lunch, Courtney, my BFF, asked what was wrong.
I told her the everything that happened at breakfast since I tell her everything....well I almost tell her everything.
When the final bell rung at the end of the day I slowly walked to my locker not wanting to get home. Of course, standing at my locker was the girl who single handedly managed to ruin my day. Jessica Watson, my tormentor since 6th grade, she always seemed to make my day worse in someway.
As I approached my locker she smirked more and more.
"How's daddy's girl doing?...oh wait I forgot you don't have one." she cackled like a hyena.
I ignored her as I entered my combination, rolling my eyes as she made snide comments about my outfit and how "emo" I was. As I put my last book in my locker she slammed my locker shut and I heard snapping and could feel a lot of pain.I screamed.
"F*UCK!!!"
She just waltzed away smirking. Oh great.
