Project #6:
The WANTSOME Coffee Shop Incident Part 2:
Smell Of The White Candles and Flower

Bash Douser

Isinugod sa ospital si Dorothy. How I hate the guts of women! They are pain in the ass and over-reacting!

"What happened?" tanong ni Ceira. Tumingin si Aleica sa amin.

"Bakit gan'on, Bash? Ceira? Lagi akong inaakusahang gagawa ng masama? Do I look like I'm going to do something stupid? Do I? Ugh!" saad niya at sinabunutan ang sarili. Nagkunot naman ang noo ko sa sinabi niya.

Noong una kong makita si Aleica kanina, nasabi ko na lang na pamilyar siya sa akin. Though, the girl named Ceira looked like exactly Aleica. Medyo... nalito ako.

I chose to brought Dorothy at WANTSOME to chill out. Namatay kasi kahapon ang kapatid niya. The investigation is still rolling and she is number one on the suspect list.

Dorothy knew about this. Inspector Alora explained to her why. The reasons are, the prints on the victim's shirt and body belongs to Dorothy. No other prints included, but only hers.

I feel bad for her but she said I should not. She said that pity is for those who are weak, not for her. Tss. If I remember it clearly, she cried like a baby in my arms, yesterday. Tss.

"You don't look like that. It's just that, Alpha triggers a fresh memory to her. Her sister is killed yesterday," I said and looked at her intently. She is also crying.

Oh, come on. How many girls will cry in front me? They are full of dramas and how I hate dramas.

"N-napatay?"

"If you heard me correctly. Yes," I said and stand when the doctor came out of the room where Dorothy was in.

"Sino ang kamag-anak ng biktima?" tanong ng Doctor. I looked at his nameplate and the name engraved on it is DOC. MANUELO Q. MARAHAS.

What a weird surname for a doctor.

"We're just—"

"Guardian ako ng pasyente," saad ko. Tinignan naman ako mula ulo hanggang paa ng doktor. Walang reaksyon ko naman siya sinusundan ng tingin. Pinutol ko na ang sasabihin ni Ceira. We're dead meat if she continued what she was supposed to say.

"Kaano-ano ho kayo?"

"Guardian. You want an specific relation with the patient? Kuya niya ako," I said and smirked. Tumango-tango ang doktor at lumapit sa akin.

"The patient is now on good condition. She just needs a little rest because she might suffer again from over fatigue. I also suggest not to stress the patient. Mas makakabuti kung ilayo siya sa mga nakaka-stress na bagay. That's all. You can now visit the patient," saad ng doktor at tumalikod. For a doctor, his surname suits him. Ruthless.

When we entered the room, a familiar scent lingered on my nose. Scent of sampaguita and white candles. And then, a memory flashed on my mind.
