Bucky and I are getting a house built by the compound. We want to be able to have some kind of privacy. You know to try and be a normal couple and such. Plus, that way Peter can live a somewhat normal life. That reminds me we have to go make Peter our official kid. I think we'll do that today. While the house is getting finished. Now where did I leave those papers? I think they are in the lab. Or maybe Pepper has them. I should call her to make sure. "FRIDAY call pepper. " "yes boss" *rings once* "Tony now's not a great time-" " Do you have the adoption papers for Peter?" "Ah. Yes I have them why?" "I need them can you send them to me?" "I'll take them to you later. Is 3 o'clock fine?" "Yeah sure" "Okay Great." "Yep see you then." *Hangs up*

That was easier than I expected. I thought she would have yelled at me or something. I mean last time we talked she wasn't totally happy about the call. What was the call about? Um she wanted to get back together but I told her no because I was in a relationship. She yelled, cried, yelled some more then hung up on me. I felt bad about it but I'm happy that I did it. If I didn't I wouldn't be with Bucky. I wouldn't be adopting Peter. Pepper didn't think taking Peter in was a good idea because he was 14 and almost old enough to live on his own. So I held off taking him in a long time ago. I regret that decision, but its fine because now I can right that wrong. I need coffee. *Gets up. heads to the kitchen.*

We are going to stake out a few of their bases and take them out under S.H.E.I.L.D. orders." "I thought Nick Fury died and S.H.I.E.L.D went under after the HYDRA incident?"*sips coffee* "I'll explain the Nick fury things later but S.H.I.E.L.D. has a new director, Jefferson Mace. "Oh yeah. The accords are still in play. Rhodey and I will see what we can do about that." "You don't have to-" "Yes, I do if I want to make my marriage public." "Right..." "When do you guys leave for the mission." " 2 days" "How long will you be gone?" "3 Months at most." "If I let you take Bucky you have to promise me to keep him safe and bring him back alive." Steve chuckles."I promise." "Okay he can go." "Thank you!" He hugs me and makes me spill a bit of my coffee on his shirt. "Great now my precious coffee is on your shirt." "Sorry. I just got excited." "Its fine." "sorry to interrupt, but Pepper Potts is approaching" Steve raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "Relax Cap she is just bringing me the adoption papers for Peter." "Whatever you say Tone. Just yell if you need any kind of assistance." He says as he walks towards the elevator. He pushes the button and the door opens revealing Pepper. "Miss. Potts" He smiles as he steps to the side letting her come in. "Mr. Rogers." She smiles back and walks towards me. "Hey Tony." "Hey Pep" She hugs me and kisses my cheek. Steve shakes his head in disapproval and closes the elevator doors.

"Oh" She said as her voice cracked and tears started to fall from her eyes messing up her mascara. "Well here is the paperwork. You and Bucky just need to sign here and here I highlighted it for you." and with that she was gone. She wouldn't even let me say sorry. I guess I lost the chance to be friends with her. I gather the papers and set off to find Bucky.
