Chapter 1

''Come on, Hun!'', my mum yelled from downstairs. ''Okay im coming!'', i said.

I grabbed my bag and quickly looked around the room to make sure i didn't forget anythng.

I ran downstairs and out the door. ''You got everything?'', my mum asked. ''Yup! Boy can't i wait to see Soph! She's so adorable'', i squealed. ''Glad you like them'', she chuckled. ''Cuase you have to live with them now''

We moved to the car, but by the time i opened the door my mum was already seated in there. Was i that slow today? Guess so.

''Come on you turtle'', she said as i climbed in and buckled myself. ''Did you just call me a turtle?'', i asked. ''Indeed. You've got a hard head to top it off'', she chuckled. ''Oh well thanks sloth'', i rolled my eyes playfully. ''Are you calling me hairy?'', she asked, making us both laugh.

We cranked up the music and sang along to it, acting like stupid teenagers. I loved the playful relationship me and my mum had together. She always acted like a teenager, but serious when it's time to be. She's amazing and so funny.

Before i knew it, the 3 hour trip was over. It went by quite quickly, might i say.

i looked out the car window to see two boys looking over at me as i got out. They had a football by their feet as they kicked it around.

I shyly smiled and looked down. The front door to our new house opened and out came Sophia stumbling as she ran to me. ''Hey Soph!'', i squealed as i lifted her into her arms. ''Are you ready to have a lot of fun?'', i asked her. ''Wes!'', she giggled, twirling my hair around her tiny finger.

I put her down as Mason came out. ''Hello Maddie!'', he chirped. ''Hey Mason'', i smiled. ''You ready to see your new room? I believe it's bigger than your old one'', he shrugged. ''Okay. Thanks'', i said.

I went to get my bags before Mason took it. ''Let me. Take Sophia upstairs to the right and your room will be the last door down the hallway'', he said. ''Thanks''

I went inside and the house was very nice and clean. I took the stairs up and went down the hallway to my right. The door to my new room was plain white and when i opened it, my breath was stolen from my body.

It had white walls and it was indeed bigger than my last one. Way bigger. I had white furniture and a plasma screen hooked onto the wall across the room of my full-sized bed. My bed comforter had black and swirls across the white backround. I had a total of 5 pillows on my bed. The two in the back were plain white, the two in the front were the same design as my comforter and there was a small one in the middle that said 'DREAM' in black and all caps. It was lovely.

I remember how my mum would take long trips up here, leaving me at home with my aunt or bestfriend, Kate, while she would come up here and decorate my room. She always said she wouldnt send me pictures because it was a 'surprise'. I even texted Mason and asked him but her replied with ''i don't violate our mothers rules''. I was always anxious to see this room and now that i have, i was happy.

I put Sophia down in the middle of the bed and just looked around. There were two different doors in my room. One on the far right and the other on the far left. I opened the one of the far right and it was a walk in closet. My dream has come true! Haha.

I opened the other one and it was...My own bathroom?!?! It had a shower, tub, closet, toilet, and two sinks?! There was still a lot of space even with that much stuff!

I opened the closet and there sat light blue towels, big and small. My hand soaps wee there and so were my body soaps and hair needs. A brand new straightener and curler! Now i know where all that stuff went! About two weeks ago before my mums last trip here she had asked for me to go shopping with her and we bought all this stuff! Everything besides the straightener and curler. Huh...I guess she got tired of me using hers. Haha... I always used it.

I walked out and back into my walk in closet, but before i did i looked out of my window. The houses were close enough together that you can see into eachother's windows.

That seemed to be the house with the two boys. I opened my window for fresh air and then suddenly in that room, the door opened and i turned my head away. I forgot what i was gonna do, so i just went to the boxes that Mason must've dropped off while i was in my bathroom.

I turned around and the boy looked at me through the window. He had the blonde hair.

He opened his window and smiled at me.''Hi'', he said. I hesitantly looked around and then walked over to the window. ''Uh hey'', i replied. ''Im Niall. Nice to meet ya, neighbor'', he said. ''Im Madison. Call me Maddie though'', i shrugged. ''So you are from Ireland'', he smirked. ''I thought you were from England or The States'' ''Nope. Born and raised in Lifford'', i shrugged. ''Oh wow. My uncle lives up there. What brings you 3 hours away to Mullingar?'', he asked. ''My mum decided it's time to move in with her now fiance Mason'', i shrugged. ''Oh cool'', he shrugged. ''Yeah well im gonna go'', i said. ''Bye'', i said. ''Bye''

We closed our windows and the same time and i felt my cheeks heat up and i turned around. Well now i know one of them and who's room that is.
