Skateboard Boy.
It had been like any other day in Coco Beach, the sun was shining, the palm trees were swaying and Samantha's mother was cooking breakfast in the kitchen.
"Good morning honey"
"Yeah some good it is" Samantha replied. She had walked over to the fridge and pulled out a soda and picked up an apple off the table.
"Samantha I made breakfast, arnt you going to eat something other than a soda and an apple?" Samantha's mother asked.
"You know I never eat on the weekends mom, besides Matt'll eat all of this if you let him" Samantha walked over to the side table by the door and reached for her Skateboard.
"Yum, bacon!" Samantha's younger brother by 3years had come down the stairs, seeing all the food.
"See, I told you" Samantha said referring to her brother as he was filling his plate. Samantha walked over to her mother, who was behind the kitchen counter and kissed her on the cheek.
"Love you mom I'll be back later" Samantha took a bite of her apple and started for the door.
"Honey"
"Yeah mom?" Samantha turned to her mother and almost dropped her apple because her mother had thrown her helmet to her. Samantha laughed.
"Thanks mom."
"You're welcome, have fun honey and be safe." Her mother called after her as she left.
"I will mom don't worry" Samantha called back, she strapped on her black helmet, dropped her board and road off to her friends house. As she skated by she finished her apple and threw it in a near by trash can. The majority of people knew Samantha and waved as she road by, Samantha smiled happily and continued on. She had gotten to her friends house and wasn't really paying much attention and did a turn, falling right into somebodies arms.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry" Samantha said trying to get back on her feet without the strangers assistance. The stranger had leaned down to pick up Samantha's skateboard as she dusted her self off. The stranger stood back up with her board in his hands.
"I believe this is yours" Samantha had finally gotten view of the person who had saved her. He was slightly taller than her with short light brown hair, that had been jelled up and he had a dark blue beanie on. He was wearing a red button up with white skulls all over it and it was buttoned all the way up to the top. The most amazing thing though that Samantha had noticed first, was behind his cute dorky glasses he had the most beautiful piercing green eyes.
Samantha had never had a problem with talking to guys before, after all most of her friends were guys. For some reason though she couldn't get her words to line up properly in her mind.
"Oh...um yeah thanks" she stammered as she reached for her skateboard.
"Samantha?" Perrie had called from her yard, which they had been standing a few feet from.
"Yeah it's me I'm coming Perrie" Samantha took one last look at the stranger and smiled.
"Yeah, well thanks for the help...I'm uh...I gotta go. See you around" Samantha ran up to Perrie's house leaving the stranger that had stopped her brain from functioning.
"Wait!" He yelled but she had already went in the house. Samantha had dropped her beanie when she had fallen and the boy was going to give it to her, but instead of taking her the beanie he just smiled at it and put it in his back pocket. This was what he hoped was their meet cute; the part of the movie where two characters meet and start their story together. In order for that to happen he had to ensure that they would see each other again, so he secured that by keeping the beanie to return later.
