A/N: Angst kinda, but with a fluffy ending! =)

"No-one loves you, idiot."

Or at least, that's what Dark Pit had told him. I mean, to be fair Dark Pit does often bring Pit down in similar ways almost every day. But today the brunette angel just couldn't help but let the comment get to him.

This morning he'd tripped over Duckhunt's tail and crashed into Sonic while the hedgehog was running. Then, in the kitchen, he walked past Bowser, giving the big guy a friendly wave only to get his left wing caught in the pantry door Snake was attempting to close. Of course, Snake did apologize over and over until he was sure Pit was okay, but it still hurt! Even now Pit could feel the bend in his feathers..

Then, later, Pit missed nearly all his targets when he was practicing his arrows' accuracy. He almost shot Olimar twice. Twice! Pit felt so bad and he just couldn't let it go.

So god knows why the angel figured hanging out with his edgy clone would be the best way to get over all his days mistakes. The two of then lounged side by side in the living room until Pit lay out across the other's lap tiredly. "Hey Pittoo, will you remember me in six seconds?" Pit pursed his lips curiously, smirking a little when he noticed the growing annoyance on the other's face. "Mm, don't call me that. And yeah, I don't know. Why wouldn't I?"

Pit's spirits did lift for just a moment, he loved irritating Pittoo in small friendly ways. "How about six days?" Pit smiles brightly, ignoring the comment about the nickname as usual, as Dark Pit groans. "Ugh, I already said yes Pit-stain! This some kind of mind trick or something?" "Six months?" "Yes." Dark pit answered half-heartedly. "Six.. years?" "Oh my gods, yes already! What are you getting at?!" Pit could see now that the dark haired boy was about near his point of peak annoyance so he gave him a break.

"Okay," Pit took a deep breath in before continuing. "Knock, knock." "Who's there?" Dark Pit responded without hesitation and Pit's sputtered as he tried to hold in his laughter.

"What?" Dark Pit couldn't comprehend what Pit found so humorous until he scanned his eyes around the room, quickly darting them back to the other angel in his lap once he'd figured it out. "Shut up, your such a dork." Dark Pit held back a bit of a smirk but tried to hold it back as Pit quit smiling at him.  Dark Pit was amused, Pit on the other hand was not.

Maybe it was a little mean to subject his dark copy to such nonconsensual nonsense? I mean, Dark Pit sure didn't seem to find it as entertaining as Pit did. Well, that's what Pit assumed. In reality Pittoo definitely found it a little funny, but didn't want to give in to Pit's charades and attempts to push his buttons.

Laughing with his autopilot, mock coincidence Pit began to grow a little anxious. "But you still love me, right Pittoo?" The question, although coming out as a joke, was kind of serious to Pit. So he physically felt his heart tear to shreds when Dark Pit smiled a bit and leaned back into the couch cushions. "No-one loves you, idiot." Pittoo mocked him like he normally would, but after the day he's had Pit just wasn't feeling the joking atmosphere.

Maybe Dark Pit meant it? Pit began to wonder. Maybe it was true afterall and no-one loved him. I mean, no-one loves a clutz and that's all he'd been all day.

So it shocked the hell out of Dark Pit when Pit stood up sluggishly and gave him the fakest smile ever. "Well, sorry for annoying you. I'll see you tomorrow." And with that Pit raced off, but Dark Pit still held his mouth agape. Where was his nornal parting phrase of, "Bye-bye Pittoo, talk to you soon"? Sorry for annoying you, since when was that something Pit said?

And the Dark boy couldn't be more right, there was something wrong with his light counterpart. As soon as Pit found refuge, alone, inside his bedroom, he simply began to cry.  All the moments where he felt so trapped and like he was doing wrong were all just released into his emotions and he finally let them all out.

(And now, finally, for the Link x Pit)

Pit continued to cry rather silently in his bed until he heard the sound of knocking on his door. He debated not answering. But then he heard it. "Pit," the voice rang out. "Please open up?" Pit knew that voice, very well. It belonged to none other than his boyfriend, Link. God did he love him. So, without hesitation, Pit ran up to unlock the door and allow Link inside. "Link.." Pit's smile adorned his face once again. "What are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to be in Hyrule for two more days!" At that Link laughed, embracing his angelic boyfriend. "I was, but.. I can't stand being away from you so long."

Link granted the smaller boy a quick, loving peck on the cheek and made Pit laugh a bit at how he was squishing him. "Link!" Pit cries happily as all the sadness he previously felt ebbs away. Link continuously gives him a few more kisses before lifting the other up and plopping him on the couch. "Now," Link sat right beside him and allowed Pit to shift nearly onto his lap as he spoke. He leaned in, using Pit's head as a head rest. "Is someone gonna tell me why they're all upset?"

Pit sighed, he'd been trying to hide it from Link. He didn't want his boyfriend to feel obligated to cheer him up. "How'd you know?" Pit sighed, his smile dropping as he reached his arms back to go behind Link's neck. Link squeezed him a little tighter before beginning to speak into Pit's spiky brown hair. "Pit, we've been dating for nearly four years now. I can physically feel your unhappiness." Pit laughed a bit at that, but leaned back into Link's chest as he spoke softly.

"I.. I don't want to talk about it." Pit knew Link would understand, and he did. "That's okay." Link reassured him. "You ever do, I'll be right here." Pit smiled a bit at his boyfriend's words, he began to grow drowsy. "I love you." Pit heard before nearly drifting off, and in response Pit's heart swelled. He was wrong, someone did love him. "I love you too." Pit spoke back sleepily before calmly falling unconscious in the embrace of the one he loves.

It was around 11pm when Dark Pit entered the room silently, he was approaching the bedroom door until he noticed the two sleeping figures on the couch. Nice, he smiled to himself. He knew calling up Link was the one thing Pit needed. And it seems his plan was successful.
