I wake up from the sound of my alarm clock. I grunt and get up still tired. I have a pounding headache still. Last night was really fun. I hung out with some of my friends since it's my last day here. I'm going to California to live with my real parent.

If you didn't know I'm adopted. Ive been in the adoption program ever since I turned 3. I never knew why but I learn not to ask questions.

I hurry up and get changed. I put my hair up in a side ponytail to lazy to do anything special with it. I grab my bags from the floor.

I walk down to see my mom cooking breakfast.

"Hey mom." I say giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey sweetie your plane leaves in two hours after breakfast I'll take you to the airport." She says.

"Ok cool." I've been with my adopted mom for 2 years.

She's been the best mom I ever had. She's loving, caring, and sweet. She's like a person who only looks at the bright side. I love that about her. She hands me my breakfast and kisses my head.

"If you need anything you know my number." She whispers.

"Promise."

"Ok eat up." She says smiling.

I start eating the pancakes in front of me.

An hour later I'm at the airport getting ready to go to LA. I'm excited but also nervous. What if they don't like me? What if I'm not good enough?

I try not letting the fear overtake me. I glance at my adoptive mom one last time. She waves at me giving me a kiss. I smile and wave back. I start walking to the plane. No turning back now.

I board the plane. I sit in first class. I really don't like first class I feel this is where all the snobby people sit. I see a little girl in middle class looking around. I grab a chocolate ice cream from the attendant. I smile at her and give it to her.

She smiles back. Her mom mouths thank you to me. I nod walking back to my seat. The plane takes off. Here I come LA.
