The woods so quite soundly asleep,
All those living there don't make a peep.To frightened of what's to come,
all to afraid even to hum.The dark boney stature of this unknown creature,
Flows through the forest of unknown features. No one dares to even breathe,
Until the monster makes its leave. It takes one on its passing,
The one unlucky being.Only one unsuspecting soul,
Down to his ombnious hole.He goes there once the deed is complete,
Not to return until the suns next retreat.Every night
When the sun desends,
All is quite
Until he returns again.Once again the monster strikes,
Those all afraid to be in it's glowing sights.Where this creature came from no one remembers,
All is known is that he lingers. In all minds of those who as seen it.
He comes again tonight as you sleep,
Just make sure you don't make a peep.
