Part 11

The wedding reception was held inside the palace, everyone wished Kun and Y/n a long, happy, healthy marriage. The father-daughter dance brought everyone to tears. Lucas and Sicheng also had time to dance with Y/n, before the dance everyone awaited for. The dance between the newlyweds. They danced to a beautiful song, they stared into each others' eyes, like they were the only two people left on Earth. Y/n can finally say Kun is her husband, her one and only.

"My wife, has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?" Kun sways Y/n around the dance floor.

"It sure does, husband," she happily says.

"Tomorrow I get to call you my queen," he adds.

The celebration stops late at night, not too late because tomorrow was another important day for the kingdom of Aligovia, they are getting a new queen.

The morning of the coronation, the newlyweds woke up in each other's arms for the first time as husband and wife. "Waking up to you every morning for the rest of my life, I sure am the luckiest man alive," Kun mumbles half asleep. They eat breakfast in bed, till the stylist began to get Y/n in Aligovia's traditional dresses. She had practiced her speech to the people of Aligovia after the ceremony. She kept practicing till the stylists were done with her and Kun's ceremonial outfits.

"You are going to present wonderfully, relax," Kun can sense she is getting nervous.

"I just want to do it perfectly for our people,"

"And you will, you know it. You know your speech front and back," Kun soothes her.

"You're ready, more than ready actually. Now, let us go and show them all who's about to be the greatest queen Aligovia will ever know," Kun intertwines their hands as they walk to the entrance of the throne room.

Y/n POV

I hear the horns that blew during Kun's coronation, I know that it is time to walk in there and show everyone that I am capable of taking on such a big role in the country and that I will do everything I can to protect the people in the country.

"Please rise as and show respect for The King of Aligovia, King Qian Kun," Y/n hears from inside the throne room.

"That's my cue, my love. I will see you inside," Kun quickly pecks my lips and the door open momentarily for Kun.

"Please rise again and show respect to the wife of your king, Miss Qian Y/n," I hear the councilmen say and the doors open once more. Everything is set up just like Kun's coronation ceremony. I walk elegantly down the aisle till I reach where the councilmen, Kun, and Kun's mother stand. I bow and they all bow back.

"Please sit. Today we have come to support Miss Qian Y/n on her coronation. The Royal Advisors have accepted her to take the role as Aligovia's queen as she has finished her studies and has proved she is capable of taking on such tasks," The councilmen starts off.

"Before I continue, does anyone object. Speak now or forever hold your peace," The councilmen says allowed, I hold my breath, I was scared someone was going to object, but everyone remains silent.

"Miss Qian Y/n do you take all duties and problems to come from the nation of Aligovia? Do you promise to keep the people of Aligovia safe? And to work hard and make this nation proud?," The councilmen asks.

"I do," I say confidently and bow.

"It is with my honor, to crown, Qian Y/n," the councilmen picks up the crown, I bow and he places the crown on my head.

"Let it be known, A new Queen was born on this day! Queen Qian Y/n of Aligovia!" The councilmen yells and the guests cheer. I turn to the crowd and bow to them all, receiving bows back.

"Long live Queen Qian Y/n!" some yells and everyone chants.

Kun walks over and intertwines our hands together, we both bow, and walk to our thrones. We bow once more and sit down.

Once the guest leave to wait outside for the new queen speech, Kun and Y/n walk hand in hand together outside. The podium is set up, and there are cameras everywhere to capture this historic moment.

"Today history was made, my wife has now become Aligovia's queen. Together we will serve you right and protect you. Please welcome Queen Qian Y/n!" Kun says and I walk up.

"Good Afternoon, People of Aligovia. It is such an honor to serve as your queen. I thank you all for accepting me as a wife to your king and accepting, trusting me to be your queen. I will do my very best to do right by the people, and by Aligovia. I am ready to take on everything this country is, alongside my husband. I look forward to working with you all. I also look forward to the expansion of Aligovia. I have big things planned, big things that will help Aligovia prosper in years to come. The future of Aligovia is bright, and I am pleased to be apart of it, thank you," I bow and take Kun's hand as we both wave for pictures.
