Kaminari Denki had always been top of his class, that is, until high school. He fell behind, and far. The blonde boy went from top of his class to the bottom, plummeting like a boulder in water. Kaminari thought that he would do well, and was very excited to be able to go to the biggest and hardest high schools located in Musutafu near Tokyo. It was a dream that almost every student dreamt of, and he just so happened to live that dream.

He could see it in his head, being in his old school uniform on the last day, saying goodbye to everyone as they congratulated him. Some students were jealous of him, and ignored him, while others were happy for him.

When he got there, moving into his dorm room and meeting his new classmates, his confidence was stolen. It felt as if someone had taken his favorite limited-edition comic book and torn it to shreds right in front of him every time he was handed back a test paper.

He has been working hard, way harder than he usually would need to, but he didn't want to flop. Staying up every night extremely late studying and practicing, teaching himself things he didn't understand. It had gotten so bad, that he was distancing himself from his friends to work hard, staying up and pulling all nighters, living off of energy drinks and cold showers, then falling asleep in class.

Last night was just like every other, the same cycle. He walked into class, dragging his feet over to his desk and slumping down into it, hanging his bag on the side of his desk before he rubbed his eyes with balled fists.

"Stay up all night again, Kaminari?" Ojiro turned to the other blonde boy and questioned him, raising a concerned eyebrow. "You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, get some sleep!" Ojiro gave him a gentle smile.

Kaminari raised a weak hand to greet Jirou who sat to his left, and greeting Katsuki who sat to hers. Katsuki eyed Kaminari, nodding his head a bit without saying anything, his brows furrowed in concern. He noticed how hard the poor boy was working, and so did everyone else, but no one had said anything until Ojiro just then. He was concerned, as everyone else was. He saw the dark bags under his eyes and the dull look in his eyes. The way he slumped back and didn't talk, and wasn't constantly up someone's ass. It ticked Katsuki off that he wasn't getting help, and was trying to do everything himself without mentioning it. Not only that, but he missed being dragged off to social settings by Denki and Kirishima.

"What's up with him?" Bakugou leaned and asked Jirou, crossing his arms and eyeing the boy who slowly unpacked his belongings, yawning violently as his eyes watered.

"It seems like he's been staying up late every night, and he has rejected everyone's invites, saying he has to study." Jirou looked at the spiky-haired blonde and sighed. "I'm worried for him. He will never pass if he doesn't get any sleep. Even if he's studying, he will just be too tired to function the next day." Jirou leaned on her elbows, frowning a bit. "Kirishima said he would try to talk to him but he hasn't come to class yet." She flicked a small crumpled piece of paper of her desk in boredom. Bakugou nod his head a bit and sat back in his seat, waiting for Aizawa to come in.
