BEN and I ended up getting ice cream so it can, and I quote, "cool me down." I told him I feel fine but he's being so thoughtful right now. I got chocolate ice cream while BEN chose mint chocolate chip.

"So, how's it going for you? At the mansion I mean." BEN asked.

"Oh, it's going okay so far. You know, saying as I barely made any memories." I laughed a bit

"Alice, what you said to slenderman. I don't believe you."

"What?"

"I'm sure Jeff said more to piss you off. I don't blame you for getting mad, he's a bitchy marshmallow."

I chuckled a bit. "Yeah..."

"So, are you gonna tell me what he said?"

"Do you really want to know?"

"Yes, I really do."

"He said that I can do better. He claims you're not good enough for me. Not to mention he was being a total douche and saying a whole bunch of confusing shit." I left out the part about Jeff caring about me. I don't want him to get the wrong idea.

But am I avoiding it for BEN not to get the wrong idea... or for me?

'Definitely you.' a voice said

"What was that?" I asked BEN.

"I haven't said anything yet."

"Yeah you did- you just told me it's definitely me."

"Alice, I swear I didn't say anything just now."

"Oh... but I... nevermind," I pushed the thought out of my head. After what happened, I wasn't expecting to be very sane right now

'That wasn't BEN, sweetheart,' the voice came back

"There it goes again!" I exclaimed

"What?" BEN looked at me questioningly, "were the only ones here, so who are you hearing?"

"Ugh! I just want to go home. I'm sorry BEN, can we pick this up another time?"

"Of course," he smiled at me and held out his hand. I accepted it and we started walking back to the mansion.

We finally got to the mansion and I walked it quickly, desperately trying to get to my room.

"Hey Alice, can we ta-" Jeff started

"No," I said harshly, running up the stairs to my room.

I slammed the door and jumped on my bed, with my head in my pillow.

What the actual fuck. Everything just sucks right now!!

'You're not wrong about that.' That same voice from earlier was back!

Um... holy shit are you in my head?

'You finally got it. Hello Alice, I am the voice inside your head.'

But I already have a voice... it's this one

'That voice is you, I'm someone totally different. I am the evil of your thoughts.'

What? But I'm not evil-

'Now you are. Every little bad thought you have and will ever have is now going to be coming from me. I will control you when you powers break out. I am now apart of you. Whether you like it or not. You may be nice, but now I am here to change you.'

I don't want to change! What is your problem?! I don't wanna be some heartless bitch

'In case you haven't noticed, you're already heartless. I'm not changing your personality- I'm just toughening you up. I will protect you from harm. Emotionally, physically, mentally, everything-ally.'
