In today's topic I'll cover Salazzle species, especially their venomous abilities, including the Ability: Corrosion itself. I'll explain how everything works as realistically as possible. You can also find a few tips how to care for your Salazzle if you're a trainer or how to live with one if you are a pokémon. Enjoy~ 🌹

Overview

Salazzle is a lizard pokémon. Base colour reaches from dark-grey to charcoal black. Underside is purple with flame resembling pink markings on the chest and abdomen. With a long tail, they also own two protrusions on their backs. Usually half the length of the tail, that look like ribbons.

Salazzles are cold blooded, but with ability to create fire inside their bodies they don't need to worry about keeping constant temperature. They're quite resistant to cold for short periods of time and they're resistant to heat, which most enjoy it. Without fire abilities they also own venom. With that, Salazzles are able to intoxicate their foes in many ways. Through harms, sometimes in distance, rarely with touches. These will be explained a bit later.

Habitat and lifestyle

Salazzles live in tropical regions. They often make lairs near volcanoes or other mountains with jungles being the most common region. Many evolved Salazzles live alone with a group of male Salandits who support their lives. Some live completely alone, but those are curious types. Either looking for a lair or exploring the jungles. These types also like to be self-dependent and not bother themselves with Salandits. The most favourable places for Salazzles are hot springs, as they like warmth and humidity. Usually Salazzles tend to be clean. They really care for their body, not letting old venom to stay on their skin. Only on rare occasions there are Salazzles who keep themselves as dirty as possible, but these are aggressive ones. Dirty skinned Salazzles have higher chances to intoxicate their foes.
