(Max's POV)
I hung out at Jane's like I do almost every night, but tonight was going to be more than our usual activities. I needed to tell her about what Mike said, I was just struggling. I didn't know Mike was still a sensitive subject.
Finally, I got up the courage to tell her. "So....I um...I spoke with Mike today".
She didn't say anything at first, she didn't even look at me. I think she was took shocked to say anything.
I was going to clear things up, then she finally looked at me and asked: "what did he say?". I scooted closer to her, then told her he said sorry.
"You know...he told me I was right. He said if he really loved you he wouldn't do that, he called himself an asshole". She didn't say anything, she just looked down at the bed.
I sighed, "you don't need to forgive him, but I think he's sorry and he wanted me to tell you that".
"I want to talk to him" she said, "I want him to say all of this to my face tomorrow".
