Shay's POV
After I left Yesung's house I went back to my own. Sadly Hyukjae was there waiting on me. I was already in a bitter mood, because he broke his promise to me. He promised he'd give me a chance after I did some growing up, well news flash, I grew up and nothing changed. I was feeling so bitter that I didn't notice his worried expression.
"Shay, are you ok? You fainted yesterday, and I wanted to make sure you were alright." He said as he stood in front of my door.
"How long have you been here?" I asked in a bitter tone.
"Since midnight. I couldn't sleep, because I was afraid something had happened to you." I felt a tug at my heart. I want to be angry with him, but at the same time I wanna tell him how much he hurt me. I then took a deep breath, and went around him to open my door. "Shay? Is something wrong? You look hurt." He said, and that's when I broke. The fact that he didn't even remember made me even more angry. I then turned around to face him with an angry expression.
"You're damn right I'm hurt!" I yelled, and he gave me a confused expression. "You forgot the promise you made me!"
"Promise? What promise?"
"I told you I wanted you to be my boyfriend, when I was 14! You then said he would give me a chance after I turned 19! News flash! I'm 19, and you have a fucking girlfriend! I heard you talking on the phone with her yesterday, and when I heard it my heart shattered! Therefore I passed out, because of how much it hurt!" He then stared at me as I cried.
"Shay, I'm sorry. I-"
"No! Just leave me alone! You've hurt me enough!" I then turned around, opened the door, and then slammed it shut behind me. I then locked the door, before I ran to my bedroom where I cried my heart out. It hurts more today than it did yesterday. I then picked up my phone, and called the only person who can make things better.
"Hello?"
"Hooney, can you come over?" I said with a snuffle.
"Are you crying?" He asked.
"Yes. Can you please come over? I don't want to be alone."
"I'm on my way." He said and then hung up. I then laid there, and clenched my chest. Why did I have to fall in love with Lee Hyukjae?
