Alex's POV

That night i couldn't sleep i was tossing and turning sometimes when i thought i have slept for a while i check my clock and i've only slept for 10 minutes. Getting up i went to get some water from the kitchen. The house was dead silent so i had to creep around. When i reached the kitchen the light was on and Tyler was sitting down with his face in his hands. At first i thought he was asleep but then i saw him rubbing his face "i can't do this..." he whispered looking down at the papers i handed him. I walked up to him "Tyler...."i said slowly placing my hand on his shoulder.

He jumped up making his seat fall "oh..uhh i didnt see you there"he pushed the papers aside with his hand

"What are you doing with the touring papers"

"N-nothing" as i walked closer he pushed the papers away more "shouldn't you be asleep?"

"I can't sleep....i keep having nightmares" i hopped up on the counter grabbing a glass and filling it up with water,i stared at the water "its werid....you think i wouldn't be afraid of my nightmares...i mean im 17 and a half now" Tyler walked over to me until he was eye level with me "you should be afraid"

"Why"i questioned drinking some water

"Because like in the maze runner when alby says if you arent scared you arent human..." he said and wiped my face "so being afraid is just another way of showing we are alive" Tyler looked into my eyes

"But i dont-" i stopped when i felt his hands go around my waist and pulled me closer to him

"And its the same with love....when your in love it brings you happiness and joy making you even feel more alive" he leaned in putting his forehead to mine "it makes you feel like death isnt an option anymore....and you Alex make me feel alive....and for that i am thankful" Tyler mumbles then closes his eyes and kissed me. At first i was in shock but i kissed him back slowly but as time ticked it became faster. Picking me up slowly not breaking the kiss he took me to his room setting me gently down on his bed still kissing me.

I knew where this was going and i didn't want it "Tyler i cant...."

"Cant what?" he pulled away looking at me rubbing my cheek.

"You know...this" i motioned to his bed

"I wasnt going to try love,i just thought since you couldn't sleep you could sleep with me.....i would never do such a thing to you"he  mumbles in my neck making me shiver every time he breathed on me. I could here him yawning so i titled his head up And kissed him one last time "if your going to fall asleep can it be on your bed and not on top of me" i chuckled and he rolled off and onto his side of the bed. "I didnt say you couldn't cuddle" and quickly he turned over and pulled me closer to him smiling "i love you Alex...dont forget that"

I smiled and snuggled more into him i wanted to say i love you too but i decided not to. I fell asleep quickly to the sound of his heartbeat. His heartbeat reminded me of Josh's drums and how constant and how slow it was. I didn't want him to leave but it sounded like he didn't want to either but i wanted his dream to come true but it seems i might be in the way of that.

When i woke up Tyler was still wrapped around me sleeping. My phone kept coming on so i reached for my phone to a instagram notification it read

Ooo,tyler get some

She better not have done it

I was so confused so when i opened Instagram i saw 2 photos one was me and Tyler kissing last night in the kitchen and the other one was a picture of me and Tyler sleeping i looked at the likes 20,164 likes and the caption read:"Why aren't these two dating? Yes they have their ups and downs but they make it through and yes they flirt and act like kids around one another ....i think Tyler should grow some balls and ask her out who's with me✊"

Setting my phone back down i looked over a Tyler thinking on what Josh said,putting my head back down i watched him "i love you too Tyler....don't forget that"
