The sky was dark above me,
This was the day you left your mark on me.
You wer'ent ready to listen to me,
And I was'nt ready to admitt the fact that you were gonna say good bye to me.
That day the time was the slowest ever,
And my heartbeats were the fastest ever.
For you saying good bye was'nt a big deed,
But you did'nt even care that my heart would bleed.
That night it was a full moon,
And thought you would gift me a ring that night very soon.
But today I sit below the same full moon,
And console myself by saying you would come back to me very soon.
Tears just roll down my eyes whenever I think of that night,
But I just hold on to my pillow very tight.
I know you'll come back for me some day, some time,
This thought keeps me waiting for you.
