Jason was sitting out on the end of the broken pier. He didn't see us coming so when we stepped on the pier he kinda panicked,
"fu-," he exclaimed as his head spun towards us, "shit you guys nearly gave me a heart attack,"
"sorry," we said at the same time, "JINX, DOUBLE JINX, TRIPLE JINX."
We all laughed, but then it faded like every other good moment.
"Sorry i disappeared back there, i just couldn't..." he started, "I had to just punch something,"
"yeah we saw the tree," Niki said
We all laughed agan.
"Should we go back now?' I asked,
"NOT BEFORE WE HAVE A SWIM," Niki yelled as she pushed me into the water, I screamed as i fell in and when I surfaced I spluttered out, "bitch," and pulled her in with me.
We swam until the sun was going down.
"we should get out now, the sun is going down," Jason said, "but its gonna be cold,"
We started walking back, it took about 10 minutes to walk down to the dam but it was down hill and we wern't in freezing cold, wet clothes.
"Seriously we really should go into the town," I said to Jason,
"yeah I know, it was just the way she said it. She really didn't have to rub it in my face that they're dead," he said back.
"Yeah," I said, "but there's Niki's family and mine and anyone else, we have enough food to house a few more people and we can find more in town, we also need to get more materials for the walls, they aren't exactly bullet proof, or very corpse proof yet,"
"OK, but i'm going to teach you two how to drive and defend yourself before we go, so you can come with us," he said,
"REALLY???!!!" we yelled at the same time, "JINX, DOUBLE JINX, TRIPLE JINX,"
Suddenly something yanked my hair, I screamed and fell back. Then everything went black...
