"Hello darkness my old friend, I've come to talk to you again, because a vision softly creeping, left its seeds while I was sleeping, and the vision that still remains with the sound of silence." The song went on in the background. This planet, long ravished by famine and fire. Mountains long since denied access to life-sustaining elements collapsing in terror of the light, giving away to a darker side, to the horror that hadn't been dealt with.
A dark elf sat nearby, tending a campfire. The smoke drifted over the rocks. If you looked closely at his features, you saw a broken crown atop his head, jewels cracked and dust settling in among the darkness. Scar marks lay across his arms at the elbows, dried blood crusted broken skin. Moreover, the smell of death lingered, even though much food was nearby. He was frying some eggs and bacon for a body nearby, synthesized for the organism through an ancient technology. Ever since Thanos destroyed most of his kind through the Asgardians, he had been careful with whom he killed, for some had been not what they seemed. Illusions and tricks.
The body stirred, dust shifting. A red liquid material dropped from the wounds on his sides. Blood, and lots of it. The elf stared for a moment at the burns before dribbling a little liquid down the body's throat. "Come on. Wake up!" He turned away. Tony's armor said unhelpfully, "Fuel level at 19% percent. Body temperature stable. I highly recommend getting to a hospital, sir." Then on his wrist, a hologram appeared. The elf threw a hood over his head before answering the unknown caller while holding a frying pan. Slightly awkward, no doubt.
"Tony? Tony? Your heart just pumped! Tony?!" Cane Pepper's worried voice. You cautiously tap a button on the wristguard to try to end the call but it just turned on the receiver. "Oh my god..." Came Loki's voice said. "He's alive. Boy you were lucky." "Shut up Loki. You're the one who's lucky." Came Black Widows voice. Thor spoke, "Strange, I'm so glad you- oh." He stuttered, seeing who was watching and hearing their conversation. "Who are you?" The elf stuttered, not knowing what to say. "He probably can't understand us." Said Valkyrie. He shakes his head. "No, No. I copy." Thor smiled at Valkyrie. "See? Told you." She rolled her eyes.
"Listen, whoever you are behind the dark spooky head covering we know where you are, even though you tried to disable the tracker." He remains speechless. "We're arriving in 12 minutes. Locking on jump point in 5-4-3-2-1!" A moment later Peter Quill's ship, the Benator blasted into existence, slowing down, wheeling around to float right in front of him. He tried to run but they caught Tony and him in a tractor beam. "We're not taking any chances with losing him again. We have one chance....again."
"Ssssh, don't tell him that, fool." Came Ronan's low voice. The suit shut off and the next thing you knew was darkness closing in around you.
