at first, you thought it was a joke.

it had only been two weeks into senior year at your new school and you had yet to make friends, let alone attract anyone's attention in that way. or so you thought.

but on september 14th, you opened your locker to find a folded up piece of paper. you hesitantly unfolded it, to find what looked like a handwritten note. based on the jagged sides of the paper, you believe it was ripped out of a notebook. you looked around to see if maybe someone was watching you, recording you, something. but everyone was just going about their business as usual.

so then you read it. and after doing so, you were left more confused than before. it said:

dear cute girl (sorry idk your name),

i'm too much of a chicken to actually talk to you face to face so uh..hi? sorry, as you can tell i'm pretty awkward. i just wanted to tell you i think you're really pretty and um yeah. god, i'm regretting this already. i hope this isn't creepy or anything. if it is, i should probably stop writing. yeah..i'm gonna do that now.
