Ch.8 The Sleepover

Today I was going to see my best friend at DQ, so I had to get ready.
It was a hot day so I put on light Jean shorts and a T-shirt. I didn't want to put on anything to show the stomach because I got jumped a couple days ago and I had a large bruise that covered maybe half of my stomach. I didn't tell anyone because I don't want anyone to worry. I started walking to the DQ, but while I was passing the Curtis house the boys were outside.
"Hey y/n where are you going" Twobit yelled from the porch.
"DQ to meet b/f/n" I said.
I waved and started walking.
(3rd POV)
Dally looked at the gang with a evil grin.
"Come on Dal, you can't-" Steve got cut off.
"We are following her"
"I'm down" Soda said.
Some of the guys shrugged their shoulders. All six started slowly walking to the DQ, since Darry was at work.
Y/n arrived at her destination and saw her bestfriend.
"Hey!" She said sitting down on the opposite side of her friend.
They started chatting when the gang walked into DQ.
Y/f/n saw them but decided to shrug it off. The gang sat at the table behind y/n.
(Y/n POV)
"So I have something to show you" I said getting up, I lifted my shirt half way to show my bruised stomach.
"Y/n nooo" I heard a sad Johnny say.
I shot my head to the left and saw the gang looking at me shocked. Crap.
"Well I gotta go y/f/n" I said walking out of the door.
I heard footsteps behind me, but I kept walking.
"Y/n! Why didn't you tell us" I heard behind me.
I didn't answer.
"Answer me!" They said.
Just then they grabbed my wrist.
Dallas.
"Let go"
"No" his grip tightened, where it hurt.
"No I mean it, let go"
"Tell me why you didn't tell us" grip tightened.
"Because it's not a big deal, I got away before anything got serious"
"I think you should let go" Johnny said quietly.
Dally looked at my wrist and saw how tight his grip was and let go.
"Tell us when ever you got jumped, ya dig?" Dally said.
"Yes, I dig"
I started walking to my house.

It was late afternoon and I was done with my shower. I got into my pajamas, and put my hair up. I put on some music.
"Ain't no mountain high enou-" there was a knock on my window. I jumped back and saw Dally, Soda, Pony and Johnny making funny faces. I laughed and walked to unlock the window. They climbed in.
"Nice singing" Soda said.
I groaned and turned down the music.
I realized that I forgot to give Pony something on his birthday.
"So Pony, I love how artistic and special you are so, I have this old thing of mine that I don't use anymore that you might want" I said grabbing a box from my closet.
I opened the box and I saw a bunch of pictures and an old but good conditioned camera. I picked it up and wiped the dust off of it.
"Would you like it?" I said handing it to Pony.
"Really? Me?"
"No. to the president of the untitled states, yes you!" I said laughing.
"Yes, thank you" He said smiling.
I suggested a scary movie and everyone agreed. Me, Soda and Johnny on the couch and pony, Dally on 2 different chairs.
We started watching the horror movie.

"She's going to die" I said, just then on the TV the women got Murdered.
Me and Soda laughed. Snap.

I was not the one to get scared of scary movies but sometimes when something pops up out of no where I'll get a bit frightened. On the TV just that happened and I got scared closed my eyes and nuzzled into Soda. Snap.

When the movie was finished I saw that Dally, Pony and Soda fell asleep. I got them all blankets (including Johnny)
"If you need anything Johnny, I'll be in my room" I said walking to my room.
"Okay" Johnny said putting the blanket on himself.
I closed the door and laid in my bed thinking about Soda. I just can't get him out of my mind, he is like my obsession.
