"Kristina! What on earth are you doing?" your voice could be heard all over the place, as your little sister turned her head towards me. She sent you a smile and stood up from where she had been. You lifted your dress to walk faster towards her, but stopped as you saw who she was with. "Why are you with him, Kristina?" you asked and the small boy stood up. He turned away, ready to run back to his house.
You have seen him before when your parents had a garden party, but never in your whole life would you think that Kristina would go behind dads back.

"Please don't tell dad," Kristina pleaded as she looked at you with her brown eyes. "Kristina, you know that soon someone would see you and Bain together?" you asked her softly as you lowered yourself down.

Her gaze lowered and found the ground interesting, Bain turned once again and held back his thoughts. You looked up at him and sighed, and smiled. "Just take care of her for me, okay?" and with that Kristina jumped up and wrapped her arms around your neck. "Thank you, sister!" Kristina cried out and ran over to Bain, almost nocked him down as she attacked him. You laughed softly, and you walked over to the side - Kristina and Bain had seen each other for a long time, and you didn't want to keep them apart.

"Thank you, (Y/N)." Bain thanked and walked off with your sister, looking happy as ever. Let's just hope that nothing will happen to them both, you sighed and walked up the stairs to Bard, Bain's father. As you knocked the door, you heard someone run inside and things getting knocked over.
As you waited, a few minutes passed and still no one opened the door.

"Bard? Sigrid?" you asked, grasped the doornob and pulled it towards me. As I looked inside the cold house, I saw a small looking man laying on the table. He had his eyes closed, and some nutes were placed under his head. "Hello?" you spoke softly, and as you walked inside. "(Y/N)! Is it only you?" Sigrid came out of the shadows and walked towards you. You nodded and raised an eyebrow, you had been friends with Sigrid ever since you both were children, and you had known from the start of this month that she had hidden something from you.

"What's going on?" you asked and closed the door, pointed at the dwarf and walked up to him. Suddenly he opened his eyes and out of the blue he winked at you - like he didn't look pale and about to die. "He's sick, (Y/N)." Bard said as he came up behind Sigrid and placed his both hands on her shoulders. "Sick? Of what?" you asked, walked around the table and the dwarf followed your every move.. Like he couldn't take his eyes from you.

"An arrow, deadly." was all they said and with that three other dwarves came forward. They both looked at you with a stern look - but you smiled and moved out of the way. "Might I ask you why you're here?" Bard asked, you looked at him and sighed.

"My father had told me that he thought he saw some dwarves, but wanted me to go and see - and I see he was right," they both paled, Sigrid stepped forward and placed her hands in front of her chest. "(Y/N), please. Don't tell your father, they will take pa away!" Sigrid pleaded and tears started to form in the conour of her eyes.

I was two years older than her, and I should know when to tell things to my father - but I would never bail her out. "No, this will stay quiet." and they smiled, even the dwarves. "Thank you, lass." the dwarf with the weird hat said and you nodded.

"But you said it was an arrow that had made him this sick, than I believe that no medicine we'll offer will help. He needs elven medicine," you said, and eyed Sigrid. She nodded and walked over to the books that had been taken down. "We need an elf, but as I know - Mirkwood would never send someone to help him," you pointed out and closed the nearest book.

Sigrid looked at you, her eyes sad and she said: "Can you see what we need?" You sighed, but nodded and found another book, placed in front of you and opened it. Different types of weed that could heal different wounds, but nowhere it stood about Black Arrows.

"I'm sorry, but I don't find anything." You looked up and lowered your (E/C) orbs to the three other dwarves. "What? It needs to stand something!" the blond dwarf said angrily, ready to take a hold of you and shake you like a rag-doll.

"Elven medicine dosen't stand here, master dwarf!" you said, he stepped backwards and the fire in his eyes faded. The dwarf with the weird hat came forward, wrapped his arms around dragged him away.

With the time passing by, the night fell and everyone had left to their houses. Bard and Sigrid had asked you to stay with the dwarves, and you had done so with a heavy heart. Kristina would soon wonder where you were at the moment.

"So, who are you?" the blond dwarf asked, Fili was his name and looked at you over his dying brother. "(Y/N)
(L/N)." and he nodded, looked over his brother.

"Bofur here!" the dwarf with the weird hat said with a grin, but the third dwarf didn't say anything. He was busy to look through the books, hoping to find something that would help Kili, Fili's twin brother.

"May I ask why you're here? I have never seen real living dwarves, only read about them." you looked at them, Fili smiled and winked at you.

It looked like he had forgotten that he had tried to attack you, but you wouldn't want to be mean to him - his brother would die if he didn't get help soon.

"The Shife of Lake-town would let us stay if we would claim Erebor back from the dragon - Smaug!" as he said that you paled and you stood up, and with that the door flew open.

A ugly and deadly orc stood there, growled something and looked over its shoulder - and an arrow hit went through its skull. You stood there like you had seen a ghost, but the dwarves were quick. They grabbed everything they could - and ran outside.

Left you with the dying dwarf, and you looked you to your side - a sword that belonged to Bard. You grabbed it, wrapped your fingers around it and swung it over your head.

It was heavier than it looked, but you had learned from your father - but not that much to understand how you swung and cut with the heavy sword.

"(Y/N)," Kili whispered, his dark brown eyes found your figure standing in front of him with a sword - trying to look deadly. The orcs found it funny, so they ran inside the small house and growled at you.

Kili tried to stand up, but the pain was to much. "Stay where you are monster!" Kili was shocked to see you master the sword so easily, and the look on your face as you cut through the orcs chest - he understood that you really didn't know what would happen after.

"Shit, are you okay Kili?" you asked him, he nodded and laid back down. And as he did so, you pushed the end of your dress up and walked over the dead orc. No one stood outside, but still you felt like someone was inside with you.

You turned and looked down at the sword - thick blood ran down the blade and dripped down to the wooden floor.

You looked up and found two sapphire blue eyes look into your (E/C) orbs with two green ones. You stood there, and you felt the wet blood had started to suck itself into your dress. If you had been in a different moment you would have turned red and fainted - two elves stood in front of you.

But at this moment you didn't care. Blood on your face and you looked over at Kili, he looked at the red headed she-elf and paled even more. He closed his eyes, and the other dwarves came inside.

Bofur gasped and pointed at you. "Wow, lass! You took this orc down all by yourself?" but you didn't answer, you only looked at the blond elf. He stared at you and smiled shortly, and turned his eyes away.

Bofur poked the dead orc, and looked at Kili. "He's getting worse," and the red headed she-elf looked at him and said something. Bofur nodded and pointed at Kili while saying: "Don't move."

Fili rolled his eyes and walked up to the two elves and Kili. Bofur ran passed you and ranted to himself: "Weed."

The blond elf found you once again, and walked over to you. "Are you okay?" his voice smooth as the smoothest velvet. "Yeah." was all that came out of you and with that everything started to get blurry. The blond male-elf looked somehow worried and grabbed you before you could even hit the wooden floor.
