My name is Jasmin, I'm a senior in Highschool. I guess you can call me nerd but I just love school, it's my only escape from home .
Constant yelling from my parents fill the house everynight . I almost don't hear it anymore.
My alarm aggressively rings at 6:30am and I struggle to turn it off . Today is Monday , March 9th .
I stumble to the bathroom to take a shower. The hot water hits my back and my blood starts pumping. After drying myself, I put on a black shirt and light wash mom jeans. I put on light makeup and fluffed my thick curly hair .
I traveled downstairs and greeted my mom , dad, and my little brother, Jacob. Mom was packing my brothers lunch and my dad was reading the daily newspaper. The kitchen was quiet but the tension was loud .
I gave my brother a hug goodbye and took my waffle to-go .
I fumbled for my keys to my Toyota and hopped in the car.
I turned up the radio and speeded off to school.
