     10 minutes late ! Shit
I rushed through the hallway and to my science class.
I open the door and the whole class stared at me .
Mrs. Wilson: Jasmin , so glad you could join us .
She scowled at me as if I killed her cat or something.
Me: Sorry Mrs. traffic was -
She cut me off
Mrs. W: No excuses , take a seat.
The only seat available was next to Chris Blu. I heard  he was in a mafia and he killed a man . Despite the rumors, every girl in school has a crush on him . Me? I don't see the big deal.
I walked over to the seat and put my stuff down .
Chris: Mrs. W is a bitch
He giggled and I smiled back .
Chris: don't let anyone treat you like that. You don't deserve to be disrespected.
Me: thank you.
  I blushed
Chris: You must be Jasmin Alta .
Me : you must be Chris Blu.
Chris smirks at me
Chris: so you've heard of me ?
Me: everyone's has heard of you.
Chris: so you think I'm in a mafia ?
Me: I don't believe in rumors.
Chris : Can I take you out on Friday?
    Is he seriously trying to flirt with me ? EWW. Never in a million years will I date Chris Blu , rumored gang banger and certified hottie . NEVER!
I was about to open my mouth to say absolutely NOT bu I quickly remembered that I hate stay in my house.
Me: Pick me up at 6
Chris had this stupid smirk on his face .
Chris: Sure thing cutie.
WHY IS THIS MY LIFE ?!

The lunch bell finally rang .
I rushed to my usual table where my friends Emma and Riley sit. I greeted them then took out my sandwich.
Emma: So , me and Trevor are back together!
   Emma and Trevor are constantly on and off . They fight about stupid stuff , break up , and get back together. Last time they broke up was about who should pay the check on the date and then it escalated to women rights.
Riley: you should just dump his ass for good .
   I'm the only person she told that she was lesbian. She has a major crush on Emma.
Emma: No! He's super sweet , he has his flaws but I think we are going to be together forever.
  Riley rolled her eyes
Me: Forever is a long time . Is forever worth fighting all the time ?
Emma: When you get a boyfriend you'll understand. It's a different type of love . I would do anything for Trevor.
Me and Riley looked at each other and gagged.
  In the other side of the cafeteria I spotted Chris staring at me . I quickly looked away.
Chris smoothly walked over and sat next to me .
Chris : hey , Jasmin
Jasmin: Hi
I was so angry I couldn't breathe
E & R: CHRIS BLU ?
C: so you told your friends about me ?
J: nothing to tell
E&R: what's going on ?!?
C: she didn't tell you that we're going on a date ?
  The whole cafeteria went silent and eyes shifted to me . After 5 long seconds of silence there was a wave of whispers.
E: Why didn't you tell us Jasmin?
R: No fucking way !
Chris had that stupid smirk again.
J: Chris , can you give us a second?
C: sure
He tried to kiss me on the cheek but I pulled away. He slowly slided to the next table
E: He's like the hottest guy in school!
R: He's in a mafia !
E: I would seriously break up with Trevor to be with him .
J: STOP! I only said yes because I don't want to stay home , my house is literal hell .
R: ArE yOu DuMb?! He's dangerous, what if something happens?
E: Do you want to borrow some condoms?
J: CHill , nothing's gonna happen , I'm a big girl.
  Chris slided back to the table .
C: So Jasmin, the only reason I came by was to tell you...
He got closer and whispered in my ear
C: You're beautiful.
   Chills traveled down my spine . At that moment I wanted to kiss him.
Chris walked away without saying another word.
E&r: what did he say ?!
J: stupid shit
  The bell rang and I made my way to English.
I walked through the door and everyones eyes followed me to my seat .
I sit next to Sara , the most popular girl in school.
Sara: So what do you do for someone like Chris to go on a date with you?
J: nothing Sara
S: you payed him didn't you ?
J: I don't have to try as hard as you
S: how much ?
J : not as much as you nose job
I rolled my eyes and continued working
S: Your going to regret using that attitude with me .
I ignored her .

After school I travel home .
I ran up to my room and threw myself on my bed.
I got a text
Chris : 😘
J: 🙄
Chris : so excited for Friday !
