Chapter 4 tom first night in new home

Tom and Pablo arrived at Pablo's - their - home. Pablo showed Tom around the house. Tom loved the look and asked, "Why does the outside look horrible?" Pablo replied, "It's so that if any wizard walked past they wouldn't want to go inside because it looks haunted." Tom understood that. He went to find his room and discovered that it was four different colours on the inside. He asked, "Hey Pablo, why is my room four colours?" Pablo said, "I don't know what house you're going into at Hogwarts so I'm giving you the four house colours and all the equipment for all your different years. The only thing we both need to get is a wand. Let's go to Ollivanders." They both traveled to Diagon Alley. Tom loved the look of all the shops. Then they came to the wand shop. They opened the door and Mr Ollivander greeted them, "Come inside." Pablo walked up to Ollivander and said, "Hey, I am Pablo. This is my adopted brother, Tom, and we would like our first wands please." Ollivander said, "Okay Tom, you go first." Tom took the wand and gave it a wave but nothing happened. He tried several until Ollivander handed him a final wand and said, "One last chance." Tom held it and felt bright lighting within himself. He said, "Wow this feels amazing." Ollivander  said, "Excellent! Thirteen-and-a-half inches, yew, phoenix feather core. Very unique wand. I see it'll do great things for you." Pablo thought 'typical oh well can't change the past too much I suppose'. Then it was Pablo's turn. Mr Ollivander said, "Ah Pablo, you are older than my usual customer. How long have you not a wand for?" Pablo replied, "For a while I guess, but I've managed longer." Ollivander said, "Makes sense. Some wizards don't come into magic until they are 16 or older." Pablo said, "Explains a lot because I didn't know about magic until recently when I received a letter from my parents." Ollivander said, "Interesting. Okay I will have a look if there's a specific wand for you." Ollivander searched and searched and found a wand. Pablo gave it a wave but nothing happened. Then Ollivander had an idea. He said "Maybe this is your wand? I accidentally have double of this wand." Ollivander handed Pablo the wand and a bright light appeared above Pablo's head. Ollivander said, "Interesting... maybe you and Tom are more brother-like than expected? Eleven inches Holly and a Phoenix feather core as well." Pablo gulped, "Wow that's interesting. Do you have a spare of this specific wand?" Ollivander nodded, "Yes I am looking for the other wizard that's supposed to have the other same wand." Pablo said, "Good luck I am sure you'll find the wizard." They left the shop and headed to pick up a pet for Tom. He picked a Kneazle, thinking it was a cute cat. Pablo said, "A Kneazle is very intelligent cat and can spot an animagus from a distance." Tom said, "Awesome. I think I will call him Morfin." The Kneazle looked up and seemed to smile. Pablo replied, "I think he likes that name." Pablo bought himself an owl. The kind of species that was a true owl. Tom looked at the owl and said, "He's so tiny and adorable. Can true owls detect if someone is telling a lie?" Pablo laughed, "I suppose so. Maybe you  can teach him a couple of tricks? Okay let's go home."
A year later Albus Dumbledore arrived at the Wool's Orphanage and asked for Mrs Cole. She appeared straight away and Albus said, "I heard you have here a boy with great talent." Mrs Cole replied "We did but another person adopted him and they became brothers." Albus couldn't believe his ears, "How old was this person?" Mrs Cole said " He was 16, I believe. He's going to your school in September." Albus left straight away and was concerned about who had the child that he was meant to look after and mold into being a great wizard.
