-Skip after Natsu left for his surgery-

Lucy looks back at Wendy with a warming smile.

“ come ,why don’t you have a seat next to me” she said pointing at the chair next to her bed. Wendy nodded and followed her instruction. She take a peeks at Lucy’s book cover.

“eh?! Lucy-san read this book to?” she said looking at the book titled All The Light We Cannot See”

“yes! Did Wendy-chan read this too?” she beamed at the dark blue haired girl.. her eyes sparkled brightly.

“yes! It was amazing! It was a bit sad, but really great story!” she said smiling widely.

“yes! That’s true! I have been reading this books for nearly four time!” she chimed while Wendy nodded her head.

“you like reading Wendy-chan?” Lucy ask.

“I really loved reading, mostly about fantasy story” Wendy replied now looking at a few books on the table next to Lucy bed.

“you wants to read to? Take one…I’ll give you as present since you’re my first visitor other than your brother” Lucy said.

“umm…thanks Lucy-nee…then I’ll take this!” Wendy said showing Lucy her book titled “A Dragon and a Princess”

“well that’s my favorite.. take that I have two copy of that books. Come here. Let’s read it with me” Lucy said gesturing the little girl to sit on her bed next to her. Wendy hopped a little and move on the bed to sit next to the gorgeous blonde.

“it’s a story about a half human dragon and a really beautiful princess in a faraway land named Fairy Tail, just like this hospital name right?” She tell Wendy a little bit of the story while slightly giggling for similarities on the name of the hospital she’s in.

Wendy nodded her head and said  “then what happened?”

“well you need to read it first right?” Lucy said.

The girl scoff a little “But Lucy-nee story was more interesting~ please…I will read this later…” she showed her puppy eyes, that no one ever decline it.

Lucy lets out a small laugh “okay…so the princess and the Dragon was a really great friend when they were still little…but due to some circumstance.. they’re separated for a few good years…” she closed her eyes with a sigh, then flutters it open again with a sad smile.

“the Princess now have grown up to be a really beautiful woman, due to her perfect feature she was really popular to all the prince, they all was awestruck by her beauty, but they don’t love him and that thing worries the Princess, because she always want a man whom can love and protect her with his heart.” She takes a short pause to look at the girl next to her which now seemed really interested.

“Well…not long after that…her father kingdom was attacked by the dragons, the King was anxious so he finally take a step to stop the war by asking the King of the dragon itself. The Dragon king saw the Princess and interested to make her as his daughter-in-law. The kings declined that at first but he feared the rage of the Dragon king. Finally he non-willingly gave his daughter to the dragon. When the P_” she stopped her story when she feel Wendy head on her shoulder. Wendy was already asleep, she was lull by Lucy sweet voice.

Lucy smile slightly. She then pulled the comforter on the small girl. Wendy stirred a little but she’s not awake. Lucy continued reading her novel with a little ease in her heart. The books Wendy borrowed was a book by her mother the only thing left when she’s gone. Luckily Lucy have the original copy. When she was telling the story to Wendy, she remembered the time, when her mother told her the exact story. She doesn’t even realize she was slowly drifting into dream world.
