Not so platonic (Corina)

I need your help

(A/n): Despite CQ's fandom being quite small I know I'm not the only one who shipps Corina, most of this is inspires by their post on twitter and instagram with or about each other.
English isn't my first language so if you ser any mistakes please feel free  to comment, also to give your requests, opinions and suggestions for the story.
Also I'll be adding some characters to the story because I don't know enough about their real lives to use their actual friends.

Cora's POV

It's a normal school day, it's two months before senior prom, my senior prom and some guys are already looking for dates, I was walking to my locker with my friend Dev when I saw Jake making his way to us.
Jake has had a crush on me since summer ended last year and I have been dreading for the moment he asks me to go to  prom with him.
"Hey girls"
"Hi Jake" Dev said in a monotone tone and rolled her eyes.
"So, Cora I was thinking..." can he even do that?  "How about we go to senior prom together?" He said trying to be flirtatious but ended being as annoying as always. He's been like this the whole school year, trying to ask me out and take me on dates but I just don't like him nor do I want to go out with him at all.
"Well, I'd love to but I already have a date for prom" I said trying to get him to back off.
"Really? Well I bet that whoever your "date" is he can't top me, who is he?"
I looked at Dev with pleading eyes "They're not from around" she said, nice save.
"They?"
"Um, y-yeah, she doesn't know them either and I kind of want it to be a surprise" I said trying to think of a way to make my lie more convincing.
"Oh...okay I guess, well if you change your mind about them you know where to find me" he said as he walked away and winked at me.
"He doesn't know when to give up does he?" Dev asked, I was about to agree with her when I realised that I had a new problem.
I have to get a date for prom now.
"Hey Dev" I said nervously.
"Yeah?"
"Where do I get a date now?"
"Shit, right, well I don't know, don't you know someone that can help you...you know, pretend to be your date and that?"
"God I'm screwed" I said as I goty phone out of my pocket.
"Who are you calling?"
"The only guy I know that can help me now" I opened my contacts looking for Scott, if anyone knew what to do in a situation like this it was one of our Aca-papas.

"Scott?"
"Sup Cora?"
"I need your help"
"What do you need?"
"I might have lied to a guy that invited me to prom and told him that I have a date and now I need a date urgently"
"Damn, you're in trouble kid, well, what can Scotty do for you?"
"I don't know, could you pretend to be my date?"
"I don't think so, sorry but we have to rehearse for tour and film music videos, why don't you ask one of the girls though?"
"The girls?!"
"Well yeah, did you tell him your date was a guy?"
"No"
"Then ask them and see if one of them can be your date, you know, as friends"
"God, thank you so much, I knew you'd help me out of this mess"
"You're welcome kiddo"
"Bye Scotty"
"Bye Cora, good luck with your date"

School was finally over "So what are you gonna do about your date?" Dev asked as we walked out to the parking lot, she was hiving me a ride home since I needed as much time as possible to figure this out.
"I'm gonna ask some friends if they can help me, they're not from here do it should work".
"Do you think one of your friends can fool Jake?"
"I think any of them could, I just have to find the right one".

Kaykay Sharve: what do you need girl?
Cora: I need a favor
Nina: anything for you
Cora: I need a date for prom and I was wondering if one of you could come with me
Nina:  when?
Cora: April twenty-something
Hannah Montana: I'm sorry, I can't, Brad and I had planned on watching a movie marathon last week of every month
Kd my girl: I can't either, sorry sis but it's too far from my home
Kaykay Sharve: I'll be getting my mom's mother's day present that day
Cora: it's OK, I'm gonna ask someone else
Nina: nope, pick a nice dress Wilson because you have a date  that will fly all the way there to take you to prom
Cora: omg! Nina thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
