Nandini was prepped and ready for her mock performance, she really had to make this one count, after all, she had to show a certain Malhotra what she was made of.
A spotlight on the stage, and Raichand doing final settings, just a few more minutes before the performance would start.
Navya made use of this time, going towards Cabir, patting his shoulder as he turned around to face her, a curious look on his face.
"Kya khurafaat kar rahe ho tum Cabir? Bahut dekh rahi hoon tumhe, Rehaan ke saath. Kya, matlab plan kya hai tumhara?"
'Yaar ye Madhubala itni smart kabse hogayi', thought Cabir.
"Pehle tum batao, TUM kisse dekh rahi thi? Mujhe ya, uss Rehaan ko? Aur kyun?"
He cleverly asked, averting the topic from him, and shifting on the blame to her.
Navya fumbled, blushing hard, trying to find the words to answer his question, when Rehaan told everyone to sit down and quiet themselves, it was time for the rehearsals to begin. The background dancers had taken their positions, 4 boys in black.
"Alright, entrance on 3, Murthy. 3,2,1..."
And Nandini saunters into the stage, taking her position, her back towards the audience as she takes a deep breath, Manik along with her, excited about what was going to come his way.
