Chapter 3

-Namjoons POV-

Thankfully we made it out alive. Jackson, Bambam, Mark, and I made it out together.  Hoesok, Yoongi, Youngjae, and Jaebom made it out. Taehyung and Jin made it out together. Even Kihyun made it out with us. The only people we were missing were Jungkook and Yugyeom. Both of the groups maknaes. The jokester of the group youngjae wasn't able to crack a joke to lighten the mood.

We can't lose our maknaes. But we can't go in to find them either.  It goes against our code to risk our lives for someone who should have the ability to get out on their own.  Although, as of right now, I want nothing more than to run and find jungkook. But just then, The backdoor flung open, and the building on the inside erupted into flames. Jungkook came hurtling through the door coughing, followed by Changbin. And a dead, sad, and depressed-looking Yugyeom.  

"Jungkook!"

"Yugs!"

"and Changbin?" Kihyun called out

For some reason, the voice of kihyun caught the three boys'  attention. The look of pure guilt, sadness, and loss seeped from the emotion coming from their faces. 

"What's wrong?"

"What happened?"

Yugyeom then at that very moment wailed out and cried. I didn't know what was wrong, but the cries came from the boy who never, I mean never cried. Those cries tore my heart apart, and I knew what those cries were, they were cries of pain and guilt.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry!"

"what's going on?" Kihyuns attempt at comforting the younger only ended up with Yugyeom wailing even louder. Most of us never cried so it was super awkward when trying to comfort another.

"tell shownu we need him and the rest of Monsta x here. We need to tell them something. " Jungkook looked up at the others with glassy eyes.

Jackson contacted Monsta X, I got Stray kids since Changbin was with us and seemed very shaken up.

Joon: meet us at the hang in 10.

                                      Got it. Have you seen bin? : Chan

Joon: with us. See you soon. 

I put my phone away and turned toward the others,

"we're meeting at the hang in 10, Skz and MX are on their way to pick up Kihyun and Changbin. "

-Youngjaes POV-

We arrived at the hang, and skz were already there, all 7 of them. When they saw changbin they all, all of them ran at him and engulfed him in a hug, and tears and laughs of joy rang through my ears. But no smile was on Changbins face, just puffy red eyes from where he had been crying.

Finally the group we had been waiting to get started arrived. Monsta x walked up as Kihyun was reunited with them and handshakes and bro hugs went around the room.

"ok well we were called here for more than just to get our members back so what's wrong, where is Minhyuk I thought he was with you. " Shownu spoke as he looked around the room.

"Minhyuk? I never saw him, just Kihyun." Jaebum asked,

"then where is he?" Kihyun couldn't help but start to worry, his best friend was missing

"Uhm." yugyeom spoke

Everyone's attention turned to the boy, who had tears beginning to fall from his face again. And at that moment, in that very moment, I knew. I knew exactly what was about to come out of Changbins mouth.
