Before You Know It

Chapter 25

I was walking into lunch when Sophie walked up to me with tears threatening to fall.

"What's wrong Sophie?" I asked quickly searching her face for answers

"Skylar... S-s-she put notes in my locker again." She said putting her face into her hands.

"She did what?" I look up from Sophie's face and up at the clock on the wall.

This is the last time she messes with Sophie.

"I'll handle it. Stay here please." I said as I began walking away from Sophie exiting the cafeteria as Sophie calls behind me.

"Wait! What are you going to do?"

"I don't know just yet. You will just have to wait and see," I turn and look at her over my shoulder, she begins to walk after me and I put my hand out towards her, "And no you aren't coming with me."

Right before I walk through the cafeteria doors I turned back to Sophie and grabbed her shoulders.

"You are gonna go to my car and wait." I pull my keys out of my pocket and hand them to her. "Here are my keys and just go sit. I'll be there soon." At that I turned and walked away

I could feel the anger running through me threatening to punch anything that came close. I could see out of the corner of my eye that Sophie had stopped walking and her hand that she had originally reached out to grab my arm was falling to her side. I could barely hear her whisper something as I turned the corner.

"Okay. Be careful.."

I felt bad for being like that to Soph but I wasn't in the exact mood to care. I was more focused on where I was going and what I was about to do.

I walk into the doors of the hallway ignoring everyone around me. I have one destination on my mind and I am going to get there no matter what. I am walking quickly and notice people looking at me for walking fast.

The anger is running through me almost taking control of my muscles and thoughts. The adrenaline pumping, keeping me going. Keeping my head high as I am walking down the hallway I ignore everyone around me as I sense them looking at me. I knew she would be where I was going without a doubt.

It didn't take long for me to find the short dirty blonde headed girl surrounded by a bunch of her friends, Skylar. My legs started moving before my brain even processed it. I need to do it now or I will never get the courage to do it again. I know that if I waited any longer I would never do this.

Walking towards her, I am currently only 5 feet away when I catch a glimpse of my teacher by her door out of the corner of my eye I begin to think.

Should I actually do it? I might get in trouble and a teacher is right there..

Fuck it.

I continued walking. I don't care anymore what others think of me but this girl has been bullying Sophie and I am not about to just let that happen.

I am only 2 feet away when her friends notice me. I grab the front of her shirt in my fist and shove her into the closest locker with all of my force and you could hear her make an oof sound.

My hand is holding her shirt on her chest and I raise my right fist getting ready to let it fly. Right as I bring my fist down to hit her right in the face she finally looks at me. As soon as my fist hits her it hits right below the eyes and barely an inch away from her ugly nose. You could hear the noise of my knuckles connecting with her cheek.

She looks up with me with her eyes wide and places her left hand over her cheek that was now turning red. I can sense everyone turning their heads toward us now since her body colliding with the locker definitely isn't a quiet sound. I look her straight in the face as she still holds her cheek and I grit my teeth whispering but yelling at the same time.
