Tic Toc...Tic Toc
The pavement and trees became the sky; and the sky became my ground.
It took me a bit of time but my eyes finally came into focus; I was dangling from my seat. The seatbelt strap was tightly fastened around my chest. Crippling and crunching in on itself, the roof of my car was barely holding out.
Tic Toc...Tic Toc
The turn signal, at the corner of my peripheral view, kept blinking.
Where was I going, I thought.
With my right hand, I pushed against the collapsing ceiling's weight.
With my other hand, I reached for my head. But.
My head felt something fleshy. My hair was covered in warm blood. With blood dripping down my forehead, I slowly lowered my left hand.
It...was gone.
All I saw was flesh torn at the wrist.
But I felt it...I felt pain surging throughout my hand.
Where was my left hand.
As I opened my mouth to scream out for help, I couldn't breath.
My tongue recognized the taste...it was my own blood.
Strapped down, holding off the weight of the car, and choking on blood, I am going to die.
With glass shards shattered under my head and a crumpling ceiling of metal closing in, what hope was there?
I closed my eyes and prayed that it'll go by faster.

Agony was the last thing on my mind. All I could think of was the ones I'll leave behind.

But there was something else.

Someone was coming.

With out warning...a hand reached out and grabbed me.
