Chapter#24: I Didn't Mean It...

"Who was that woman Sedrick?!" Tilda was really angry on Sedrick.
"You've known her for years, Tilda!"
"No, I'm asking who is she to you?! Look, don't lie to me, I know everything, that kid was calling you daddy? Do you still have excuses?! Are you in your senses?"
"Calm down Tilda. I wanted to tell you this. I didn't know that Silvestra has my kid... "
Sedrick told her the truth. She was angry on him, certainly, she had to be.
"So? Now what? Now you want to keep your mistress in our home?! I'm telling you Sedrick, she'll ruin everything!"
"No, no, she didn't even want to talk to me. I insisted. Because I can't leave my son now. But I'm not gonna take her here. I love you Tilda, just you. I chose you over everyone else. You were my priority."
She cried on Sedrick's shoulder. But she could understand it.
In a few weeks, Tilda got some severe illness. Skylor was too young. And Sedrick had his job. Tilda needed someone to take care of everything. Sedrick told me this so I offered him that I can take care of her. He hesitated for a while, but then he agreed. I packed some of my clothes and some things, and Sedrick took me there. Tilda looked at me, at once, she got mad, but then she calmed down. She was an educated sincere woman, she knew how to handle situations. I asked Sedrick to drop Sebastian at Sheriff's home or my mom's home, but Sedrick wanted to spend time with Sebastian so he also took him to his residence. I took care of everything. Tilda was being so feeble. She couldn't even take a glass of water by herself.
"Tilda... I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry."
Tilda looked at me and held my hand.
"You don't need to say sorry. Sedrick told me everything. I was just being emotional. And thank you, for being here and doing for us."
"Tilda, you know it, I love Sedrick, but I didn't mean it, I didn't mean to interfere in your relationship. I never meant to disturb your happy life, that's why I left Sedrick's life years ago. But when he got to know about Sebastian, he didn't want to leave."
"It's alright. I can understand Silvestra. You're not like that, what I thought about you..."
We talked for some time.. Then Sedrick came, he was shocked to see that I and Tilda were laughing together. He was really so shocked.
"Am I dreaming?" Sedrick interrupted.
We spent a nice evening.
Next morning, Sedrick went for his work, I got Sebastian ready for school.
"Sebastian, wait..."
"Yes, mom?"
"I'm not feeling well today... Something's wrong with today, I'm not having good vibes..."
"Are you alright mom? You want me to stay with you?"
"No, no, everything's fine right now. But just promise me one thing, you'll always take care of yourself Sebastian, no matter what. And always respect dad and Tilda is also not that bad, you can trust her. Promise me you'll never let me down."
"I promise mom. But why are you talking like that?"
"I'm feeling, something's wrong with today, I hope not to get another vision. Don't worry."
I kissed Sebastian on his forehead, and he left for school.
Skylor was asleep in his room. I was preparing breakfast for me and Tilda. Suddenly, I heard a cracky sound .. I went out and saw that Skylor's room was open.
