'For a cancer kid, there's no happy ending. You don't become an adult, find your true love, settle down with them, and have kids. Yeah I'm not an actual kid, I'm turning 19 soon, but the sad part is I still live with my parents and they treat me like a child. It took me long to realize that no one gets their happy ending. You do all that settling down only to die sooner or later. My ending is just coming a little earlier than others.'

"Y/N." Your mom yelled. "Yeah, ma!?' You yelled back. "Come on, you're going to be late for your support group!" She said. "Good!" You say. "Let's go!" Your mom growled. You sigh and roll out out of bed. You changed into black sweat pants, a gray sweatshirt, and gray shoes. Your mom was already waiting for you in the car.

You got into the car and your mom glared at you. "What?" You asked. "Where's your bucket list?" She asked. "Here." You said, holding up your phone. "Its suppose to be on a piece of paper." Your mom says. You shrug. "Why do you care?" You ask. "Because you don't." She sighs and pulls out of the drive way.

"Can we stop by Starbucks?" You asked. "No way, we're going to be late." She says. "But...I have cancer." You said with puppy dog eyes. "That is low." Your mom said. You stayed looking at her with your puppy dog eyes.

A few minutes later you had an iced frappuccino in your hand and on your way to support group.

"Bye, love you!" Your mom smiles and blows you some kisses. "Bye." You say and slammed the door shut. You were about to throw away a half filled cup of frappuccino into the garbage until a voice stopped you. "That looks like a good cup of frap you're wastinf." The light skinned boy said. "You can go in ahead." He says to a little girl, she looked about 14. The girl did as he said. "Lemme have it." He says. "But what if you get sick?" You asked, handing him your drink. He shrugs. "I'll get better after." He said. "Well what if you don't?" You ask. "Then I'll meet my cousin in heaven." He said and took a sip of the frappuccino.

'Wow.'

"So you–." Your mom honks her horn. "Go to your damn support group!" Your mom yelled out the car. You groaned. "Sorry, bye." You said to Zion. "See you later." Zion says and smiles.

'See you later...I don't say see you later. I don't like saying it 'cause if I die before i meet again, at least I said bye. I don't know if might sound depressing, but I find it a good thing.'

You looked back at him and raised an eyebrow, then you walk into the building.

"So, Y/N would you like to tell us what's on your bucket list?" Your support group therapist asked.

'Mary.'

"Hey isn't it amazing that God can just place a baby in a women's womb without getting her to have sex? Do you think your next, Mary? The lady's name was Mary, but it's amazing how God can't cure cancer." You laughed sarcastically. Everyone stayed silent and stared at you. "Y/N, what is on your bucket list?" Mary repeated. "I trying not to die." You say, raising an eyebrow. Mary sighed. "I think you should try other things too." Mary says. "Why, cause me not dying isn't going to happen?" You asked.

Mary looked at you for a long minute and went on with the others. You laid back and groaned.

'Yeah, I try Mary...a lot, but I know she loves me. She didn't try, not once to talk to my mom about me.'

Support group was finally over. You walk down the stairs and see the dread head there again. "Hey." He smiled. "Hello." You said. "Nice to see you again." He smiles. "Very nice to see you too." You giggled. "Uh, my name's Zion." He said holding out his hand for you to shake. You stuff your hands in your jacket pocket. "Don't expect me to tell yours." You smirk. Zion puts his hand down. "Mysterious and cute, I like you." He smiled. "Speak your mind, I like you." You said. Zion comes up close to you and you become flustered. He grabs a leaf from your hair. "You got a-" He stops mid-sentence and steps back a little. "Hey, your nose is bleeding." He said. "Shit." You say and cover your nose with your hand and saw your mom's car. You quickly get into it. Zion watches you walk away and sighed.

You grabbed napkins and stuffed it up your nose. "You alright?" Your mom asked. "Yeah, just dying over here." You joked. Your mom smiles and kissed your forehead.

'I always wonder, why come into this world just to get snatched away soon after. I do believe in God, I just believe that he creates us and just throws us into the world, not even knowing himself what's going to happen right after. I think all God can do himself is pray, maybe he never really had control over us human, he just tried to give us signs and lead us down the right paths when he could.'
