"Darling." My Mother said. "Yeah, what is it?" I asked. "We're going to have dinner with Mr & Mrs. Wang & their son later." Mother said.
"Um, ok." I said. "We want you to come as well." Dad said. "Oh, uh ok. Is there any particular reason why?" I asked.
"We'll tell you later." Mom said. "Why can't you tell me now?" I asked. "Oh don't worry it's just a little secret." Mom said.

"Y/N, are you ready?" Mother asked. "Yes, I'm coming." I said running out of the room while trying to put on my shoes.
*Mini Time Skip*
We arrived at the restaurant. I saw Mr & Mrs. Wang & their son. We both looked like we didn't really want to be there.
We sat down at a table while they talked & Mr. & Mrs. Wang's son & I were just silent.
Then out of the blue my parents asked us. "So are you both excited?" We both came out of our little world & said: "Excited about what?"
Our parents laughed & said: "Well about your marriage." We both looked at each other & I said: "Wait, I'm marrying this guy? I don't even know him!" I said.
"Sweetie lower your voice & calm down." Mom said. "Calm down?! I'm in an arranged marriage! I don't have a choice in this! It's bullshit!" I yelled. I stood up & ran out of the restaurant.
I called for a taxi & went back home.

I was in my room, I took off all my makeup & clothes & just wore sweatpants & a tank top.
Then I heard a knock on my door & then the door opened. "What's the point of knocking if you're just going to open it." I said.
I heard a sigh. "Honey, we're doing what's best for you & the company." I heard my Mother say. I scoffed. "Really, you know what's best for me?" I said. I sat up & faced her. "Then why would you force me into something that I clearly don't want?" I asked raising my voice a bit.
"Honey, if we lose the company what we'll have to move & we won't have such a good life anymore." Mom said. "So, you & Dad are forcing me into a marriage for your company just so you can stay rich. Got it, that really shows your true colors & Dad's." I said.
"Honey please-" Mom tried to say but I closed the door.
