*********Six months later***********

"Aww Kali he looks just like you" my mom said while feeding Dre his food.I laughed.

"Aye baby!" I heard Jerome yelled from upstairs

"Yea what your want"

"Aye that's not a way to talk to your husband" he said while trying to change Audri

"We are not married nigga but what you want"

"Damn.you don't wanna marry a nigga? "

"Jerome I would love to marry you one day but not today"

"What about next wednesday"

"Ok im leaving" I said turning around walking out the room

"No I need help Audri got an rash on her bootay" he said showing me while he was changing her

"Jerome you told me it was gone.now look at it"

"I know but it's getting worse.Imma call the doctor.dumb ass" I carried Audri back down stairs to play with Dre they are crawling around everywhere.

"What's up mom how you been?"

Jerome said waking into the kitchen.I know what your thinking why am I talking to my mom after what her and Kim did.well since Justin reconnected with his mom Jerome told him about me and my mom and told me I only have one mom. Jerome and Justin relationship with their mother has gotten better.me and my mom she thinks were perfect but I just feel like she's using us. I mean you didn't even look for me or gave one fuck where I ended up.I was gone over a year And when you do run into me at the store its "Kali are you ok where have you been? I missed you" get the fuck out my face with that shit. But since Justin reconnected he wants us to do the same.

Ok whatever.I'll go with it but soon as she Fucks up she gone. She was staying in the rehabilitation center downtown but Jerome said she can stay with us who so here she is on the couch watching her grandbabies.

"I've been good baby thanks for asking. Kali are you ok" I was zoned out for a minute.

"Yea I'm fine just thinking"

"No." I snapped.always trying to act like she care.She hasn't cared since dad died.

I walked out the house walking to the mailbox. I got the mail out and walked back inside.

"What you got?" Jerome asked

"Bills...more bills a letter for me from the prison?"

"From who"

I read the name and my eyes widened.I motioned for Jerome to follow me upstairs he nodded.

"Who is it from why you looked like that?" I handed him the letter

"It says Eric Thomas" he looked at me before his eyes widened also

"That's my dad"
