Taehyung tried not to seem too relieved when Byungwoo had finished his speech about how we're all strong beings and can get through this, he did this every session. He watched as the other kids grabbed their things and their chairs. The circle began to disperse as Taehyung stood.

His eyes were focused on his stuff as he got it all together before he saw a pair of converse come into his view. He took a moment before he looked up seeing the man he ran into at chemo.

Min Yoongi

"So you go to group sessions too then..." He spoke as Taehyung cleared his throat and stood up straight. He had a hold of his keys and phone, basically all the essential items.

"...Yeah it was something my mom convinced me to do..." He chuckled softly as he moved to grab his chair to put it back but Yoongi stopped him and grabbed it for him. Taehyung blinked in surprise but he kept his cool.

"My doctor told me this would be a good way to meet people in my situation...I am new in town, and it was the only thing I could think of." He said.

Taehyung nodded at that. "Dr. Yoon knows what she's talking about...so it's good you listened to her." He said as he walked with Yoongi when he put the chair against the wall with everyone else. "So you said you were new in town...where'd you move from?"

Yoongi shoves his hands in his pockets before speaking. "Seoul...I was hoping to make it as a music producer but things happened and eventually I decided to come move here to get through treatment. Daegu is nice so far."

Taehyung nodded. "I've lived here my whole life and I don't think it could get any better...it's a perfect little hometown for me." He said. Yoongi nodded simply before the conversation between the two grew silent for a moment. Taehyung bites his lip as he looked to the other hoping he was a nice individual. "So uh...when do you get your chemo done."

Yoongi looked over with almost a bitter look on his face, Taehyung sensed it was a sore subject for him and before he tried to correct himself Yoongi went ahead and answered. "Every Wednesday..." He said.

Taehyung rose his eyebrows, those were the same days as his. "Oh...same days as me...so you were leaving a session when I was coming in?" He asked him. Yoongi nodded simply and didn't say anything in return. Taehyung realized he struck a nerve and he  took a second to try and fix it. "I wanted to tell you...that day I ran into you. I was actually planning to quit my chemo..." He said.

Yoongi's eyes looked over at him and stared at him silently, so Taehyung took that as a cue to continue. "I don't know what it was but running into you made something change-"

"Life is made up of your own choices. Whether you choose the right one or not is up to you. I had nothing to do with you trying to quit." Yoongi interrupted almost coldly. It was Taehyung's turn to shut up. He looked at him with a confused expression, which was met with Yoongi's cold eyes. Yoongi then spoke. "It was nice speaking to you..." He said before he walked out. Taehyung stood there in shock before he clenched tighter on his oxygen tank.

He should have just kept his mouth shut, he was foolish to think that would do anything.

He took a deep breath and he walked out of the building as well to go home. He was filled with a bunch of emotions right now, and he didn't want to swear in a church.

Taehyung grumbled to himself as he pulled his oxygen tank in the apartment, once he was in he closed the door, he took a moment to catch his breath and when he did he took his inhaler from his bag and used that to calm his breathing. He let out the air and sighed moving to his couch and sitting down. His head fell back as he closed his eyes and thought about the event today, specifically the part when Min Yoongi snapped at him.

To be fair, he understood that talking about chemo was probably a sensitive topic to the individual. However that sense of bitterness and the general cold vibe Yoongi was giving him made the individual feel, almost scared. He was taller than Yoongi but the man had a stare that could kill. It made him think then, why was he so sensitive about the topic, sure no one likes to talk about being infected with cancer, it's an awful disease. However, most people he met had been willing to tell him their bravery with the disaster it was known as.

Taehyung then stopped all the negative thoughts towards Yoongi and a positive one replaced it. The fact he didn't feel so self-righteous about beating cancer made Taehyung almost admire him in some way. Why would anyone want people to support their battle, it's basically just them supporting the fact it was in their body in the first place. He realized what he had done wrong and he frowned as he sat up and looked at his hands for a moment. He was fairly thin due to his sickness, so his fingers and knuckles looked rather boney, he hated that the most about his sickness is that it just destroyed his appearance.

He needed a distraction and he pulled out his phone to look through social media, but instead he began to absentmindedly look up someone's name. When he came to his senses he realized what he had typed. His eyes widened slightly and he quickly exited out of the search bar and grumbled to himself. He needed to distract himself from the whole day, the last thing he needed was going through Yoongi's social media. He threw his phone to the side before he sighed and laid back on his couch and closed his eyes. He grew tired immediately and fell asleep in no time, hopefully not dreaming or thinking about him.
