"my wife is very specific about who she plans to hire for the safety of our daughter," shawn glanced at jauregui through the rear view mirror of his car, watching as she glanced out the window with no emotion. she was sat in his back seat, dressed in a black tuxedo, the jacket unbuttoned of course. her long black locks fell effortlessly around her shoulders and down her back, something that made shawn think of his wife, camila. "you're the sixth person she's interviewed so don't be too shocked if she turns you down."

lauren nodded her head, still no emotion on her face. this wasn't a typical job position for lauren, she was more so someone who protected money, killed drug dealers who went out of their way to ruin peoples lives, and other more "serious" jobs as she would say. she had never been hired to protect a child and had no training in this type of work but her boss recommended her for the position since she was one of his top workers. that being said, she eventually accepted it and was now about to meet a very wealthy mans wife in hopes of being hired to protect their 9 year old daughter.

once at the very large home, shawn and lauren both stepped out of the car and headed inside the beautiful home where piano music echoed throughout the tall walls. "camila, the possible bodyguard is here to meet you" shawn sat down on one of the sofas while lauren remained standing, still no emotion on her face. "hello, im camila" lauren turned to see a beautiful woman, cuban just like her. she shook camilas hand "jauregui, lauren jauregui." camila smiled at lauren who threw a small smile back at the woman. "can i get you anything to drink, lauren?" lauren watched as camila headed over to a glass table that held a few bottles of alcohol along with glass cups "scotch please, thank you, and call me jauregui."

camila brought lauren her desired drink before handing back her resume "i suppose you should meet iris then" shawn stood up from his seat and glanced at camila "thats it? she's hired?" a happy expression painted itself onto his face "i dont see why not, she's excellent." camila walked towards another room before calling her daughters name while shawn patted lauren on the back, happy that his wife had finally settled on a bodyguard. the piano music stopped.

"yes momma?" lauren turned in the direction of the small yet confident voice. the young girl was what seemed to be an exact replica of camila. her eyes were a chocolate brown while her hair was already down to her waist. ha, that was the cuban in her. "iris, i'd like you to meet miss jauregui, shes going to be your new bodyguard" the small girl piped up, holding her hand out to the taller woman "hola, me llamo iris" lauren took the small girls hand and shook it, her face back to emotionless. camila tapped her daughter "iris, english when you're around miss jauregui please." lauren was going to speak up and say that she was fluent in four languages, one being spanish, but she kept quiet. "how about you give miss jauregui a tour and show her to her room?"

iris smiled and lead lauren around the large home, pointing out where she practiced piano, where her room was, and everything else that she felt wasn't all that important, like the kitchen and bathroom. "and this, is your room" she pushed open a door that led them to a teal room with a bed that was against the wall. two windows were against one of the walls, both inviting fresh air into the room. lauren jumped at the sound of a bird chirping which brought her attention to the cage that was hanging on the wall with a parot in it. "thats creety! my last bodyguard left him here.." the girls voice lowered but piped back up once she jumped on the bed "so, what do you like to do jauregui? i like to draw and swim! do you know how to swim jauregui? i do swimming competitions at school. do you like school?"

"no more questions, iris." the small girl went quiet but kept the smile on her face "okay fine, ill let you get, as my mom says, settled in" iris jumped off of the bed and left the room, saying goodbye to lauren before closing the door. lauren set her one suitcase down and sighed a long sigh, this was going to be a very interesting experience.
