My sister yolanda yelled. It would be an understatement how annoying she was. My phone started to vibrate and Rita's name came on my screen. A huge smile plastered on my face when I saw that my bestfriend was calling.

"Hello" I could feel how tensed she was. Because of our fight I thought that we would never talk back to each other. I honestly wanted to talk to her deep down but my mind was saying otherwise.

"I..mi-Before she could finish her sentence I finished the sentence for her. "Missed you. I buried all my pride.

"I wanted to makeup for...you know." I could feel the embarrassment in her voice so I changed the topic.

"Oh yeah,  what about the beach?"I suggested. " I haven't been to the beach in ages."

"Yeah, eversince we were eight. " I could hear her mood change to the Rit Rit I know. Your really awful with nicknames,Just shut up I said to my subconscious.

I look at the time and the clock was saying 9:00. " we'll meet up at-- Before I could finish I was interrupted by Yolanda's annoying voice.

"Dd!!."

I rolled my eyes at yolanda yelling out my innocent name. "I'll see you at 10." I said over the phone. "Okay." Then I hanged up the phone.

I head to the kitchen where Yolanda was. She was busy chatting away on her phone. My eyes moved from yolanda to the stove when I saw something shocking.

"Don't you see that your buring down the place! " She ran towards the stove abd try to turn off the stove. Whoever she was busy talking with is the reason why your burning up the food. Stupid.

After she was finished she fixed our breakfast. Bacon, scrambled eggs and wheat bread. Before I knew it my plate was cleared.

"I'm happy we could..make up back after our fight." Rita said.

I am happy we are at the beach, it felt like age but most importantly I'm happy I had my bestfriend back.

"Are you hungry?" I decided to go in the water first before I eat food but my belly betrayed me.

"Oh yeah, that's a good idea." We walked up to the restaurant and we sat on a seat for a while. I could see that Rita wanted to say something to me but her mind was saying otherwise.

"What you think you want to eat?" I tried to make a conversation. We were always bestfriend as long as I can remember but there was a question she'd always ask me.

She was staring out of space. I could tell that she was thinking about something and I think I know what she was thinking about.

I was interrupted out of my thoughts when I heard a male voice. "What can I get you two ladies?"

We looked at him. I didn't know what I want but I know that whatever I wanted must be something simple and nice. So I motioned to him that I was thinking about it.

I heard Rita ordering crab. Yuck crab? I don't know how someone would eat crab. I try not to say it to her but I hated crab.

"Do you make up your mind ma'am?" I really hated when people call me ma'am it makes me feel like I was much older than my actual age.

I ignored the ma'am at this point and make my order. " I think I want festival and fried fish. Thankyou" I winked. What was really going on in my head I wouldn't wink to a random guy, but I decided to ignore that too.

After eating my bestfriend and I sat down on the shore. Honestly I've never experienced how the salt water feel. It sounds weird but my dad would tell me not to go in the sea water but he would allow me to go into pools. He would tell me how dangerous it was and how he lost his grandfather in the sea, so I was afraid of the sea. Yes I'm 16 and I am afraid of the ocean because of the terrible stories dad would tell me about. My thoughts were interrupted when I see Rita waving her hands.

"....hey, did you hear me?"

"Oh, I was just...um..thinking. I half lied.

"About what?" She looks concerned. I looked at my phone waiting for my parents to call because I didn't tell Yolanda where I was going. I would  doubt it if she knew that I left the house, so I wasn't planning to stay long.

I shook my head "Nothing" I lied and I hide my thoughts. She always asked me questions why I won't go into the beach or even sit on the shore. But here I am sitting on the shore but my father would kill her if he knew that she brought me so close to the sea.

After talking about school, shopping and Nick. The guy I was obsessed with who happens to think I'm invisible who is madly inlove with Ashley. I decided to go home before my parents cause a scene.

When I reached back home It couldn't be better. No one was there so I marched up into my room and I continued to read my book.

After reading I thought about random stuffs and then I fixed a cheese sandwich and I head back to my room. Honestly I was a 'house-rat' . I only leave my room to grab something to eat or simply going to school but I am always inside. So I am not so familiar with going out 'literally'.
