Welcome back everyone!
For those who do not already know, this is part two of my RWBY fanfic series. While part 1 stayed fairly close to canon, there are several small details that will make all the difference if you have not read part one (A White Rose Dipped in Blood). So if you have not read that one, or if it has been a while and you don't remember, I would strongly recommend reading that one first so that you do not end up feeling lost.
For those of you who have already read that one, Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it enough to come back for part two. As i mentioned that one more or less stayed close to canon, but part two will not. I hope you do not mind. XD From here on out the story is going to stray from the original path as far as timeline and the events go, so no worries about spoiler for those who are catching up on the series. I just want to say thank you again for all the amazing support I have gotten with my first book and I sincerely hope you all love this one just as much.
Anyway that is enough of my rambling. Lets get you caught up on where the team is now.
Ruby, Weiss, Yang, and Blake set out from Beacon a week ago, leaving their home away from home is search of the other seasonal maidens. They face a dangerous journey and the stress is starting to set in after days of walking along the road to their first stop. A small village on top of a mountain, which many years ago had been the home of the winter maiden. They are not sure whether she is still there or not, but hope that they can at least find some clues to where she may be now. The journey will ideally take several weeks, assuming they don't run into any problems along they way. Tensions are running high, and they bicker constantly. The dysfunction is apparent in their hunting efforts as well. The lack of teamwork is causing all kinds of problems leading to several small injuries as well as several lost targets.
