The Lifesaver or The Heartbreaker?

All I had to say about these two weeks is that they were horrible. After the accident with water guns I felt miserable and the scariest thing is that I don't know why. I mean, I have never been a good guy. I always did something reckless or stupid and I was okay with that until I met her. Alexis. I don't know what the hell is wrong with this girl, she is so freaking weird, but maybe that is why she is not like everyone else. She makes me want to change, to prove myself as a better person and this feeling kind of freaks me out. I mean, come on, I don't even know her and we hate each other as well, how can this possibly be happening. I will drive myself insane one day. She is the only girl that doesn't melt from my smile or wink and that made her stand out from any other girl. So why do I have a feeling that she can flip my whole world up side down and save me? I'd better sort my head out before I can do anything stupid.

However I don't think she even thinks about me. I mean, it is obvious that she hates me. Why will she even care about me? At that thought, something itched at my heart. Wow, what was that about? Whatever. What I did for her was horrible and I don't need anyone to tell me that because I already know that. So, in order not to mess up things even more, I was avoiding her. Sometimes I would stare at her at the lunch time, but every time she looked up in order to find who was looking at her, I quickly turned away before she could notice me. It is quite creepy, isn't it? What the hell is wrong with me? I can have any girl I want and I am creeping up on a crazy girl who probably could kill me without a second thought. Do I even like her? Wow, Luke, stop right there, no you don't and you'd better stop thinking about that stuff. So, as I said, these two weeks were quite boring, all I did was avoid Alexis and think what a horrible person I am. Urggg, stop being so girly, Luke, grow up man.

Things got more awkward on Friday of the second week. Our last class was Maths and I was anticipating to go to my house and relax. However, out Maths teacher had different plans for me.

“Listen up, guys, I have a project for all of you. You have to work in pairs and it has to be done and handed in, in three weeks.” He said to us, raising his voice so everyone could hear. Well, that was not that bad, I love Maths and I am good at it, so I don't see a problem in doing a project. “By the way, I will personally chose the pairs.” Mr. Sagent went on. Great, I hate when the teachers do that. Why can't they just let us choose the pairs on our own. So, Mr. Sagent went on saying out loud the pairs, but finally I heard my name. “Finally, Mr.Wilson, your partner is Alexis Callies.”

You'd have to be kidding me. Well, now it will be impossible to avoid her until our project is done. My luck was obviously on the holidays, because I was not expecting that at all. Let the fun begin.
