6 YEARS LATER....

I had invited Natalie Bean an Adeline Pulitzers over for a couple weeks we hadn't seen each other in years and we wanted to catch up. "ok Adeline, just start from the beginning" I say "ok, so Sarah has 3 kids- Marie, Jenny, and spencer, Marie is married and has a baby, Jenny is engaged, and spencer well is...spencer. then there's Mathew of course and his family he has 4 kids, Ellie, Thomas, Michael, and Kristen. Ellie is married and has 2 kids, Thomas is married and has a kid on the way, Michael isn't married and Kristen is engaged. Finally there is Christopher who has 3 kids the triplets, Fred, George, and Caroline, Fred is engaged, George is in a serious relationship, and Caroline just got married. I believe that's it" she says wrapping up "wow, you certainly have a big family" Natalie says shocked "yeah you do, now Nat it's your turn" I say "ok so Madison has 3 kids, Jane, Jim, and Juliet, their all married, Jane and Juliet have 2 kids so far and Jim has 3. then Greg has 2 kids, Catherine and Maryland, Catherine is still single, and Maryland is engaged. Emily has 3 kids, Nicole, Samantha, and Grace, Nicole and Grace are married with 3 kids and Samantha is single." She says taking a breath "what about that hockey player nephew of yours?" I asked wondering since Logan had forced me to watch a few games "oh, Garrett and Becky finally got married 23 years ago and have, 5 kids, lets see if I can name them. Allan, Caleb, Hannah, Nancy, and Rose, Allan has the only grandchild right now and is married. most of the rest of them are still in college and Nancy and rose are in High school still." she says "I believe now it's your turn, miss Elizabeth" Adeline says laughing "I believe your right.. so Victoria, has 3 kids so far, Edward, Charlotte, And Blaire, I still have no great grandchildren which is good considering Edward is the oldest and he's only 6 years old." I say laughing "I can't believe how much younger Victoria is from our kids I mean we have great grandchildren and you still just get to be a young grandmother" Natalie says laughing "yeah, 22 years is a big difference... do you ever see a picture and wonder where the years have gone by?" I asked "yes, i do looking at the kids and I when we were younger, but then I always happen to see a new picture of my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all together and I smile and it's not sad, because as time passes by we gain things like family and friends.... oh I'm getting too emotional now, pop the top of that champagne bottle, Beth, I need a drink" adeline says and we laugh as I fill the glasses up "to our families families, health, faith, hope, and let's live long enough to get some great great grandchildren" I say and we toast laughing. like I told my mother before I left for canada, I'm just playing my part in this big sloppy play called life, and I think I got a kick ass part, I mean I ended up with a British Accent!
