Hi, my name Kayla Miller I'm 19 years old and I don't go to any school. I plan on moving to England and do photography there. Nothing really exciting but I find photography interesting. I like to party and go to big concerts. I've only met 2 celebrities in my life. Ariana Grande and Jake Miller. We have the same last name too it's great. I guess you could say I have a normal life. I have a couple friends from high school, I always wanted to play college softball for Arizona State University but I didn't wanna go to college for anything at the time. Now I'm 19 years old and work as a part time photographer for rising stars. I've done some big stars too but not many. Anywaysss, tonight there's a concert in Buffalo today (I live in New York). It's called Kiss the Summer Hello 2019. It has more than just one performance it has like 7. This year it's Ava Max, Jake Miller, Ally Brooke, The Drax Project, Fletcher, Bazzi, and the boy band Why Don't We. I'm not a fan of a lot of those people but my friend bought me a ticket as a going away present. I personally don't like Why Don't We. They can NEVER get above One Direction. I miss them sm One Direction was my kind of boy band growing up. And I was most definitely not gonna throw them away for some wanna bes. I mean I've never heard their music or looked at them much. I don't really know what they look like either. Anyways, it's 3:00pm right now so I guess I should get ready. Brook would be coming to pick me up at 3:30 the concert starts at 4:00. I changed into black jeans that were ripped at the knees, a white loose cropped t-shirt that said 'cute but psycho' and grey low cut converse shoes. I curled my hair and applied only mascara and a little lipstick. My phone goes off and I read a text from Brook.
Brook: can you drive yourself here my boyfriend said he wants to take me. Sorry 😬💗
Me: ya I'll be there in a bit
I go downstairs grab my keys and get going. I start driving while listening to the radio.
Radio: is everyone excited for Kiss the Summer Hello 2019?! I hear everyone is ready to see Why Don't we! How about we talk to them for a while. What's up boys?
WDW: hey nick
Nick: do you guys like it here in Buffalo?
WDW: ya the people are always so hyped and it's a lot of fun
Nick: well it's definitely gonna rain tonight do you guys like rainy shows?
WDW: yesss
Nick: how do you guys feel being the most voted artists for KTSH2019
I start getting aggravated and turn off the radio. About 20 min later I arrive at the area. It's an outside show so there isn't really any parking lots. I park my car as close as I could to the area. I get out and start walking towards the entrance. I walk up the the little tent with metal detectors. I get all that done with and get in. It's 4:15 so the show already started. I walk over to the big crowd near the stage. There's no seats so you kinda just find a place to stand and you can get as close to the stage as you want. I couldn't find Brook anywhere I tried calling her and everything. So I just stood in the crowd pretty close the stage by myself.
Time Skip
It's already 7pm and Jake Miller just got off stage.
Nick: what's up buffaloooo
Everyone screams. I swear the people like him more than the actual performers.
Nick: are you guys ready for the main part of the show!
Everyone cheers
Nick: the biggest boy band
Everyone screams louder
Nick: here is whyyyy don't weeeee
They then appear in front of a white light up screen. I just sigh. They start performing and the song wasn't terrible. It's kinda catchy. I watch as they walk towards the edges and get in a formation right in front of me. I look at all of their faces for the first time. Wow their not ugly. Like at all. "Have you seen a sunrise turn into a sunset, kiss right through the night, cuz we should try that sometime, hold you till the morning, and if I said I'm falling would you just reply, I know you are but what am I" the one with brown hair sang as we make eye contact and he winks. I roll my eyes. I notice he has ocean blue eyes with a little cute tooth gap. He's pretty cute but he's probably just one of those cocky guys who thinks he's better than everyone else. Then I look and see brook walking or should I say running to me. "Omg what was that ?!" She yells. "Woah calm down. What are you talking about?" I say. "Daniel just totally winked at you!" She squealed. "Brook" I say. "Yeah?" "Shut up" I laugh. We turn back and watch them on the stage. I look at the 'daniel' guy and he's looking at me. Creepy much. "Kaylaaaaa" Brook said. "Yessss" I turn to her. "Wellllll, Ikindagotyouavipticketalongwithminesowegettomeetthemaftertheyperform" she quickly says. "Slow down" I say slightly annoyed. "I got us vip tickets to meet them after they are done" she smiles. "Ugh whyyyyy" I whine. "I love youuu" "mhmmm" I give her a dirty look.
Time skip
The guys just finished their part of the concert and Brook looks at me and smirks. She grabs my arm and drags me to the vip entrance. We get in line and wait. Soon enough its our turn. Brook goes up first hugs them all and I see her whisper something in Daniels ear. They both look over at me and smile. I glare at Brook. Then it's my turn. I start with the kinda short one with noodle like hair. "Heyyy you like the show?" He says. "Sure" I respond. I guess I'm being a little harsh. "You guys are good" I say before moving on to the next guy. Next is another short one with styled up hair and brown eyes. He's actually kinda cute. I give him a quick hug and move on. Next is a tall guy with brown hair. I give him a quick hug just wanting to get out of here. This ticket could have gone to someone who really wanted to meet them. Not me just coming in here killing the vibe. The next one is tall also and has dyed blonde hair styled up and to the side a little. He smiles at me and wow he's teeth are perfect. I gave him a hug and lastly, Daniel. The only one I knew the name of. I look at him and he looks at me. I flash a quick smile and we hug for a second. I went to go pull away but he had a little bit of a tight grip. Then he let go. Then the guy in the back yelled for pictures. So I just smiled then I felt someone hand on my side. I turn and see Daniels arm around me, I felt butterflies in my stomach. Uh why is shit happening. I just smile and act like it's not there. Then they take the picture and I quickly walk away. Thank god that's over. That was so awkward. Why did I feel so weird when Daniel put his arm around me? It's not like I like him. I mean sure he's cute but he's just another pop star that I won't ever see again after this. I shake the thoughts out of my head when I walked back out it was raining. Then Bazzi came on stage. Yessss. He starts singing 'paradise' my favorite. I start jumping and jamming out.
Time skip
It's 10pm and the show just ended. Me and Brook say goodbye and she heads to her car with her boyfriend. I head to the stands and get a drink real quick. "Lemonade please" I say. The place got pretty empty. It's also still raining like crazy, I'm cold and I wanna get back into my warm comfy dry car. The lady hands me my drink "5 dollars" she says. I went to reach for my money in my pocket when I hear someone behind me say "it's on me" and I see someone's arm give the lady 5 dollars. I slowly turn around to see Daniel. Oh boy. "Hey, you here all alone?" He asks. "Um yeah. I was just leaving but thank you" i shiver a little. "Here" he hands me his hoodie. "No it's fine you need it" I say. "No no I'm hot. Well not hot but like body hot. Not like that I mean-" I cut him off "I get it" I laugh a little and take the hoodie. I put it on over my shirt. We stand there in silence for a minute until I say "well I should get going but thanks again" "yeah no problem" I turn and walk away. If it was any other girl they would have probably fainted but I just wanna go home and forget that anything happen today. I get to my car and go to grab my keys. I don't feel them in my pocket. Crap. I search around my pockets but find nothing. "Need some help" I hear a familiar voice. I sigh in frustration. I turn around to once again reveal Daniel. "Uh yeah I lost my keys" I say quietly. "I can help with that" he says smiling. I give him a weird look. He pulls my keys out of his pocket. "Where did you find them and how did you know those were mine?" I asked puzzled. "You dropped them when you went to walk away from the drink stand. I tried to give them back but you kept walking" he explains. "Oh well thanks" he hands me the keys. I unlock my door and go to get in. "Wait" He says. "Do you mind if I get your number?" "Yeah I do" I shut my door and start my car. I look out my window and see him still standing there he looked kinda disappointed. I sigh and roll down my window. He looks up. I hand him my phone with the contacts open. "Here" I say. He smiles and does the same thing with his phone. We swap phones then swap back. "Thanks" He Smiles. "Yeah" I smile a little. I roll up my window and drive away. Wow. Weirdest night of my life. I meet a big celebrity, talk to him, he buys my drink for me, gave me his sweatshirt and saved me from walking all the way home in the rain. I feel kinda bad for being so harsh to him and his friends. I park at my house and get inside. I am so tired that I don't even change I just plop on my bed. I wasn't really that wet anyways. I pull my covers over me. What a crazy night.
