Once so full the sails brought speed and glory to the ship,
but blighted by locusts and rougher winds the precious fabric was ripped and torn.
Once so full of life the cheery one brought happiness to others,
but hearing whispers in dark corners and thrashings behind curtains the soul became forlorn.
Both by means quite different and yet the same achieve the same goal.
break the current, dull the winds, set the sun to blaze fire down upon
the ship the soul will rot in the water, whilst the plagues devour them;
Never again to move an inch.
But given prudent care and diligence the sail may yet, once more, unfurl;
The soul will sprout new leaves, from within itself uncurl.
It takes but the connection of wind to sail and the threads of life to resew what was broken,
and then once more both entities will be might forces on the ocean.
