Chapter 4: Military

Noel heads to the Military room to begin training. Kate, Avery, Mia, Mitch, Livie, Cherry, and Floyd along with other Highbury members are at a shooting range. Cherry refills her gun and stares at Mia. Anger fills Cherry because of jealousy. Cherry aims her gun at Mia and shoots, the bullet misses and hits a wall. Floyd is right behind her so he grabs her and puts her to the ground.

"What the hell?!" Noel yells.

"Cherry tried to shoot me" Mia says.

"Cherry?" Noel asks looking at her.

"Oh just wait until Bryan gets back" Mia tells her.

"What do we do with her?" Floyd questions.

"Our cell" Noel says pointing at it.

"No!" Cherry screams.

"Lock her up" Noel commands.

Mitch and Livie take her has she screams no.

"You okay?" Noel asks Mia.

"Yeah, she wont be though" Mia says.

"Lets wrap up for today" Noel tells everybody.

A walkie talkie can be heard on the table.

"Help!" It says.

"Thats Roman" Mia says.

"Head out, we need to get there, Mia, Floyd come with me" Noel says.

"Whats happening?" Kate asks.

"I dont know but I need you on watchtower duty" Noel says.

"Okay" Kate says running.

They get into an armored car and head to Aldermine.

"Hey whats going on?" Noel says into the walkie talkie.

"Walke-" A voice says that cuts off.

"Shit"

He speeds up and comes across another car heading the opposite direction. In bright red and white the car says NAPC.

"What the hell" Noel says.

The tire gets shot as Noel steers off the road. They crash into a tree and the car drives off.

"Ah. Is everyone okay" Noel mumbles.

"Yes" Mia says getting out.

Floyd gets out as well to see the damage.

"Front bumper damaged" Floyd tells Noel.

"Its still working" Noel says starting the car back up.

"Who are they?" Mia asks.

"I dont know, but we cant go after them, we have to go to Aldermine" Noel answers.

"Ugh" Mia says watching the car drive off.

They head to Aldermine and arrive to see a good number of Walkers trying to break the gate.

"They cant get out to kill them" Noel notices.

Mia grabs a gun and gets out. She begins shooting the walkers. Noel and Floyd do the same. Eli steps on to the top of the gate and looks at them killing the walkers. The rest of the walkers all turn around at the same time. They run at Noel and the group.

"What?!" Noel says running back.

Mia trys to shoot one but the bullet bounces off the walkers head.

"What are they??" Floyd yells.

Eli and Roman run out shooting but all the bullets fly off the walkers heads. Mia grabs a walker running after her and throws it to the ground. She stomps on the walkers head making it explode in blood. Floyd and the rest start doing the same until all the walkers are on the ground.

"They were some kind of mutant walkers" Eli says.

"Glad we could help" Mia says out of breath.

"Hey, thank you guys for killing these things" Roman replies.

"No problem" Noel responds.

"We have to head back" Mia tells Noel.

"Youre right, we got attacked on the road coming here" Noel tells Eli.

"Was it a plane" Eli asks.

"No, a car" Mia adds.

"With NAPC on it" Noel tells him.

"Oh my god" Eli says.

"What?" Noel wonders.

"Thats the goverment facility, the National Apocalypse Protection Center"
