The Breakup

You stood outside the school as the sun came down and most of the kids went home, Sophie pulled you aside needing to talk but she looked uneasy and quite nervous

Y/N: Hey Sophie, so what did you want to talk about?

Sophie: Umm it's uh...

She pauses unavailable to speak while you interrupt he thoughts

Y/N: Hold that thought cause I was wondering if you wanted to go out to eat at your favorite pizza place on Friday... Our anniversary is coming up and I wanted it to be special

Sophie: I'd love to Y/N bu-

Y/N: Great it's going to be amazing we can see a movie before or after dinner and then gaze at the stars or do whatever you'd like

Sophie: But-

Y/N: But nothing! It will be amazing especially because I'm with the most amazing person ever

She looks like she's about to cry but interrupt you screaming

Sophie: LISTEN DAMMIT

Y/N: Ummm... sorry, I guess it was a stupid idea anyways, sorry fuck... I err--

Sophie: It's not that Y/N, it's just...

Y/N: What's up Soph?

She let's out sigh avoiding eye contact while trying to let out the truth

Sophie: It's just me and Minnie our moving in with are dad...

Y/N: Oh aren't you happy? Your dad finally got custody

Sophie: I'm glad really but Tenn's not coming and I'm moving away

Y/N: WHAT, Your.... your moving?!

You feel like you got hit hard in the gut, last thing you expected was this everything was great right now in your life, you were happy this couldn't happen right now

Sophie: Uh yeah... I'm really sorry, love

You sit down on the curb feeling defeated and out of energy

Y/N: But but! We can still hang and we could move in together when we graduate, right?! Our plans haven't changed! This can still work... It'll be hard but we can overcome this!

She let's out a depressed sigh hoping she could break it easy

Sophie: Y/N, I think we're gonna have to take a break... As much as it hurts to say this... But it's the truth

You stand back up quick looking her in the eyes

Y/N: What do you mean, are you're breaking up with me Soph?!

Sophie: I love you So so much Y/N, but it's not gonna work out... We're still just teenager's, we've got our whole lives ahead of us and lot of time to meet new people... On top of that neither of us have our licenses yet and your dad works too hard to find time to drive you over

Y/N: He can make time! So what we'll do without some food who gives a shit?! Or I can even still get my license! It can still work Soph

She holds her face as tears flow down her cheeks she tries to keep strong for you but can't hold it all in anymore

Sophie: Even so... You couldn't afford a car and neither can I! I'm sorry Y/N, but it just won't work! I just won't...

Y/N: We have to try at least right! I'm not just giving up! This is bullshit!
