"Do you, Zachary James take Andrea Alvarez as your lawful wedded wife?" the pastor questioned as he turned to face Zachary.

"I do," Zachary said proudly, pairing it off with a breathtaking grin. I smiled brightly and never felt so happy in my entire life. I finally get to spend my days with the one whom I truly love.

"Do you, Andrea Alvarez take Zachary James as your lawful wedded husband?" The pastor continued as he turned to me with the usual happy, and genuine smile. The grin never leaving my face, I turned to Zachary one last time before I get to say the vow.

"I do," I said and faced Zachary. As I have noticed, he had the same reaction as me, proud and extremely happy.

"Now I pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride," the pastor announced, then directed both his hands towards us. And that's when we both expressed our love for each other. Cheers and claps echoed through the church along with a few whistles. I giggled through the kiss and we both parted.

A tear streamed down my face as the memory comes back to me. Thinking you'd be spending your life with that particular person and ends up falsely is really hard to get over. It's been six years now but I've still have not gotten over it. I've tried to by meeting some other guys, but Zachary always pops up into my mind. I've never realized till then, I was being used. I was being played. I never felt so naive before.

"Miss Andrea? Excuse me?" A familiar voice rang through my ears which I instantly recognized as my assistant, Gabriella. I shook the thoughts out of my mind, this always happens whenever I'm in the middle of my job.

"Uhm, I'm sorry-" she started, but I beat her to it.

"No, it's okay, what was your question?" I smiled weakly, trying my best to be the known happy me.

"Which of these tablecloths should we use for the venue? These are the shades of orange we have in our department," she explained as I examined the three cloths she was holding on her arm. It took awhile for me to finally decide, of course, you want everything to be perfect.

"I think the lighter shade would do. The flowers we will be having would have a darker shade than this," I said and pointed towards the middle cloth. She nodded and scurried out the door. Finally, I was unoccupied, I could now relax and stop for a minute.

Being a wedding planner is busy. You have to prepare several dresses for the bride because, obviously, they take time to decide which of them will be their 'perfect wedding dress', the food or the refreshments, the church where the mass would be held at, and anything you could imagine that you need for a wedding ceremony or reception.

You might be thinking, "she's experienced a major heartbreak and she's a wedding planner?" They say you need love for it to succeed, you're a wedding planner after all. But I don't believe in love after what had happened, and I don't need it to do my job.

And I want it to stay the way it is.
