Chapter 18

"Wake up you two" Liam shook you both. You felt Niall move and groan. You rubbed your eyes and slowly opened them. "The weather is looking nice in New York" Liam smiled as he pointed out the window.

You looked at saw how bright and clear the sky looked. "What time is it?" Niall mumbled. "3:48" Liam smiled. Harry pushed by quickly. "What's up with him?" Liam said as he stared at Harry's back.

"Must be the jet lag" Niall yawned. You, Niall, and Liam got in one car and Harry, Zayn, and Louis went in the other SUV. When you pulled up to the hotel there was so many fans waiting that the law enforcement had to control it by putting barricades to allow a clear pathway.

You got off first so you could check-in then the boys followed. "Hello, I'm checking in for the One Direction's reservation" "Let me look it up" she smiled. "Ah! Here it is. 7 suites" "Wait, that can't be right! I reserved 14 jr. suites"

"The computer is showing 7 suites Madame" . You sighed loudly as you looked for your confirmation "See it says here 14 jr. suites" "Give me a minute, I'll be back". You ran your hands through your hair a bit frustrated. "What's the hold up?" Niall came up to ask.

"There was a mix up with the rooms" you sighed. "Alright. I'll tell the boys to sit and relax" Niall said as we walked back to the boys. "Madame it seems that there must have been a glitch in the system the day you reserved the rooms.

There currently aren't anymore rooms available but the manager had agreed to charge you half the price" . You rolled your eyes because you remembered the day the laptop had frozen in the middle of the transaction, the day Harry brought you a Starbucks. "It's fine" .

She gave you the keys and you walked to the boys. " So there was an error in the reservations so instead of everyone having an individual room we need to double up. Each body guard will be bunked with another body guard and managers will be roomed with managers" "I call Louis" Zayn cheekily smiled.

"Time to mess things up!" Louis smirked as he high fived Zayn. "Where are you going to stay?" Liam asked. "Um.. I'll ask one of the managers if I can sleep on the floor in their room" "Nonsense you can stay with me" Niall smiled.

"Thank you Niall! That's really sweet of you, but I'm fine with the floor" "It's not like it's the first time we shared a bed" "Right, I'll stay with you" you smiled back. "I guess that leaves you and me, Harry"

Liam smiled but Harry was turning the other way aloof from the entire conversation. He seemed to be shaking his head in disparagement but you were pretty sure it wasn't Liam's fault.

Everyone got their bags and headed up to the rooms. When Niall opened the door you were both amazed at how nice the suite was. "This looks like a flat" you said in amazement. "It's nicer than my flat" Niall joked.

You two settled in and were happy to see that there was two bedrooms in the suite so you didn't have to share a bed. "I'm going to take a quick shower" you said as you unpacked your bag. When you came out you tied a towel around you and walked to your room.

"Oh god!" Niall shouted as he covered his eyes. "What are you doing in here?" you yelled surprised. "I wanted to tell you that Louis text me to tell us to get ready because we are going to dinner around 7 then we will head over to this club that Bruno Mars is hosting"

"And you couldn't wait until I was dressed to tell me this?" "I'm sorry! I'll let you change now" Niall said trying to walk out with his eyes covered. You laughed at how silly he was but you changed into comfy clothes since it was only 5.

You blew out your hair and looked for an outfit. Considering that it got chilly at night you put on burgundy tights, a beige lace dress, and black laced up booties.
