Murume was raised by a wealthy family that dealt with only farming of a crop known as khat. Although he wasn't part of it by blood they treated him as if he were and never made him feel as if he wasn't. By the time he was sixteen. Murume had driven over a three hundred different cars of the same model because he was recruited to drive at the age of ten and even then he never disappointed in time delivery, every single week a new pick up truck was brought in and it was only to be used for a week then discarded like scrap metal since it had served it's purpose , his experience grew over the years and there was no one alive that could drive trucks as fast as he does.
Murume dropped out of school not because of school fees or lack of anything but for the passion he had for becoming a safari rally driver. It wasn't until later when he learnt of the street races that happened across the country , him taking part in the races wasn't because of glory, fame or money but to find an opponent who could give him a ran for his money. Dissapointment came after every race as a result of not loosing to anyone and always winning by a mile, every day he strived to beat his own time in delivery with the help of his co-driver Danny. Although Murume drives alone his codriver was always at the company's lions den.
The lions den is where Danny overlooked all the roads via satellite to see which road had no traffic and had ease of passing through at high speed. Danny and Murume have known each other for almost six years but have never met in person but when communicating one would think they've known one another since forever. Except for his parents no one else knew how Murume looks like, because he usually begins delivery by three in the morning since traffic is not a problem and the delivery is made by ten am.
When coming back to Kenya he often disturbs the traffic police so as to be chased, Danny was always there to give him the way out and he had never been caught not once. It got to a point where the police got used to him snd never chased him again since he was a khat delivery driver. Khat is a cash crop and per anum it earns a revenue of two billions dollars, with those figures in the government pockets they could not afford to arrest a delivery guy at any stop point. Murume's circle of friends was small since his time was mostly spent on the road since he was a kid. Sleeping for five or six hours a day and driving for a day was the daily routine.
Things took a turn for the worst when the European Union begun complaining that in their respective countries the men are loosing their manhood ; whenever they use khat they tend to drink alcohol and the combination takes different effects on their bodies. most of them couldn't report to work the next day. The youth formed gangs to keep company as they chew all night and all day, the complain was brought by a man named Griezman whom had influence on the European Union. And it's not that people in Europe began using the product yesterday, all these was a ploy by Griezman where he had vowed to stop the plant getting in to the European countries if his demands of getting five percent of the profits annually weren't met.
Griezman used his influence to put pressure on people so as to get whatever he wanted, the trick worked most of the time and he became more wealthy and greedy and so did his influence grow. The money wasn't enough and he began targeting the drug cartels. Instead of helping in putting and end to the drug problem he escalated it by aiding in the transport across Europe and using his influence to do it. And in return he gets more money to feed his insatiable greed. Griezzman had a family, a son, daughter and wife but he spent most of his time away chasing his dream.
Back in Kenya Danny played with things he couldn't fix, used his spare time to hack lending institutions and banks not to enrich himself but giving the liquidation to youth who are different and can make a difference in their society. He invested in a group of lads and lass who had a garage called "fix it", these were youths straight from college and lead by a guy called Andrew who looked up to Murume and he often would wake up go to the road to watch Murume as he passed by. But Murume used different routes because there were other drivers from different suppliers and they could easily cause collide with each other even though the road has two lanes.
