From wall to wall my bedroom is filled with Darcy's, Janes, Romeos and Heathcliff's. They all describe such wonderful romances that it almost makes me wonder if love is Gods way of paying you back for getting you killed a really gruesome way in a past life. Like getting shot thirty times or getting your head chopped of by King Henry the eighth.
Alex says she thinks its unhealthy to read such books, she says it builds an unrealistic expectation of what men are like. She says that all men want in this day and age is sex. I think she just hangs out with the wrong kind of men.
But that's not what this story is about. This story is about an annoying, arrogant, cynical dumbass.... and how I fell in love with him.
